Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable sure sealing and easy removal by providing a ring-shaped reinforcing washer on the upper part of a cylindrical body part with which the outer peripheral surface of a valve stem guide is covered as well as a valve spring seat on the lower end open side of said cylindrical body part. CONSTITUTION:A valve stem guide 7 is forced into an aperture formed in an interstructure comparting between a suction and exhaust passage formed through a cylinder head and a upper rocker arm chamber. And, a valve stem 9 is slidably inserted into the guide hole of this guide 7. Further, a spring 11 is inserted along a flange 7a, while a seal 20 is fixed on a head part 7b. The seal 20 comprises a cylindrial body part 21 with which the outer peripheral surface of the head part 7b is covered, a constriction part 22 slidably making contact with the outer peripheral surface of the valve stem 9, a shoulder part 23 connecting with these respective parts 21, 22, a ring-shaped reinforcing washer 24 arranged inside said shoulder part, and a seat 25 arranged on the lower end open side of the cylindrical body part 21.

ム9が摺動自在VC嵌挿されており、バルブステム・エ
ンド部に数例けたバルブスプリング・リテーナ1oトバ
ルブステム・ガイド7の7ランジ7aとの間に、バルブ
スプリング11が介挿されている。なお、7ランジ7a
の上面には、後記バルブスプリング・ンート5が載置ぎ
れている。

が一体接合されているので、バルブステム・カイト7の
ヘッド部7 、b カ略ぼ完全に覆われ、焼結合金製バ
ルブステム・ガイド7に対する潤滑オイルの浸透が防止
されろ。

簡易に行い得ろため、組付は時・整備時の作業能率が向
上する。
