Abstract

PURPOSE:To form characters and figures having plural colors of different metals by forming an Ni layer base on a metallic base plate and subjecting successively and repeatedly the base plate to a plating treatment with different metals, printing for masking required parts, and stripping of the plating from the parts except the masked parts. CONSTITUTION:A base of an Ni layer is formed on a formed base plate consisting of a raw metallic material of iron, copper, etc. and is subjected to a plating treatment with the 1st metal. Required characters, figures, etc. are masked and printed on the plating layer with the special ink. The 1st metal except the masking is stripped and the 2nd different metal is plated thereon and thereafter required characters, figures, etc. are masked and printed thereon with the special ink. The 2nd metal except the masking is stripped. The plating of the different metals and the printing for masking are thus successively performed and after the base plate is subjected to required processing, the masking ink is stripped away. The required characters, figures, etc. are thus formed of plural colors of the different metals on the base plate.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of forming a plurality of colors by electroplating, in which a plurality of metal colors are formed by sequentially plating a base metal with Ji41C on a substrate formed from a raw metal. At present, a method of forming multicolors using metal materials such as iron, copper, and brass, and metals such as nickel, gold, silver, steel, and alloys has become #ild in the industry. Traditionally, metal lighters, stationery, cosmetics, and other metal items for daily use or decoration were all colored in a single color, but with the improvement of living culture, the decorations and demand for gold 14 products have diversified, resulting in colors with different tones. Four rich and valuable items are becoming the preference of users. Currently, raw materials such as iron, copper, and copper are plated with nickel, gold, silver, rust, and other alloys, and the colors of each gold are combined to create multiple colors. Conventionally, there is a method of plating characters and shapes on a 14g gold material using a plating jig using a partial plating method called ``insert'', but this method requires a lot of processing time. Loe 4f? There is a problem that the rinsing strength is poor, the working Mk rate is low, and mass production is not possible, so the processing cost increases.

As an 11 efficient means to solve this problem, plate the material metal Vc Sugisa 1 and then mask it with printing ink by printing 14J! A: There is an electroplating method for increasing the electric current of maple gold metal, but there is one problem: the ink printed on the material peels off due to the acid or base in the electrolyte, which impairs the masking effect. Plating was considered impossible.

Therefore, at present, there is no other option than to rely on the inefficient partial plating method referred to above. This invention is aimed at solving the above-mentioned problem, and as a person skilled in the art, the applicant has repeatedly made many prototypes and tests, and the success of the present invention is mainly due to the fact that the applicant provides a novel processing method that has not existed before. It is something.

The present invention involves forming a base of a nickel plating layer on a molded substrate made of a metal material such as iron, copper, or brass, plating the first metal with a first metal, and then forming a letter on the first metal plating layer. Where to display it with figures etc. '9j! Masking is applied to the part using special ink, the other part of the first metal plating layer is peeled off or left as it is, and then the part of the board other than the masked part is plated with Yozaki's ratio 2 metal. Masking printing is applied to the second metal plating layer using a special ink for the required g to display letters, figures, etc., and the remaining second metal plating layer is left as is. Thereafter, different types of metal plating and masking printing are sequentially applied to the board using the above method, and after the desired multiple metal platings are applied, the masking ink is peeled off and the required characters, figures, etc. are printed on the board using different metals. Embodiments and processes of the present invention will be explained in detail below.

Next, copper plating is applied to the substrate other than the masking layer, and a desired pattern is printed on the copper plating layer by masking printing with special ink. In this case, the removal and recovery of the steel plating layer other than masking may be omitted. Next, silver plating is applied to the parts of the board other than the gold plating character masking and the copper plating pattern masking.

As described above, in conventional electroplating, the present invention uses a plating method using masking printing, but there is a point where the printing ink in the masking area separates due to the action of the acid or base in the electrolytic solution, so there is no need to use excess coating or taping. The Katana U method, which uses a coating process, has been in use, but as mentioned above, the applicant's long-term research and numerous fake tests have led to a special method in which the printed part of the masking does not peel off when using the W plating method. By developing an ink, this amount of silver was solved.
