Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the assembling work and to increase greatly the packing density by attaching a circular band having an approximately V-shaped section to the taper part of a pair of waveguide flanges in an attachable/detachable way for connection of waveguides. CONSTITUTION:A pin 4 is pressed into a waveguide flange 1a for positioning of waveguide flanges 1a and 1b, and the flange 1b has a hole for attachment of the pin 4. A circular band 6 having an approximately V-shaped section is attached to the taper parts 5a and 5b at the outer circumferences of flanges 1a and 1b. The band 6 contains a ring 7, a screw rod 8 and a nut 9. Then waveguides 2a and 2b can be connected to each other by attaching the rod 8 tight to the nut 9. In such a way of connection, the use of plural bolts is eliminated to contribute to the improvement of working efficiency.
