DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a novel tape-like material made of a composite of an elastic polymer and a fibrous structure, particularly a material for woven and braided material which is a tape-like material having a width of 3 strips or less. 0 Composites made of elastic polymers and fiber structures have been used in various fields of clothing and non-clothing, but we have attempted to develop them in the knitting field by making them into tape-like products. At that time, if the composite consisting of the elastic polymer and the fiber structure does not contain any knitted fabric, even if you try knitting it as a tape-like product with a knitting machine, the strength of the tape will be weak and thread breakage will occur. This occurred frequently and was difficult to organize. In addition, even if the knitted fabric is knitted with great effort, the loop strength is weak, so loop breakage, that is, thread breakage, occurs when worn or washed, which is a problem. In order to eliminate this problem of thread breakage, it is possible to increase the width of the tape-like material, but this reduces the commercial value of the product.

In the present invention, as a result of studying these points, if a tape-like material in which part or all of the fiber structure is made of knitted fabric is used in a composite made of an elastic polymer and a fiber structure, the width of 3 tea, It has been discovered that even the following narrow widths can be knitted using a knitting machine, and yarn breakage does not occur even after repeated wearing and washing.

The strength of the tape-like product of the present invention largely depends on the strength of the knitted fabric that constitutes part or all of the fiber structure of the composite consisting of an elastic polymer and a fiber structure, and the density of the knitted fabric is dense. The stronger the fibers that make up the knitted fabric, the more
The strength of the tape-like material increases. Therefore, if the tape-like material is prone to thread breakage, it is best to make the density of the knitted fabric denser or to use stronger fibers that make up the knitted fabric to produce a composite with an elastic polymer. .

In the present invention, the composite consisting of an elastic polymer and a fiber structure includes a fiber structure coated with an elastic polymer on one or both sides, or laminated with an elastic polymer film, or a fiber structure with an elastic polymer film laminated inside the fiber structure. There are products in which the elastic polymer is impregnated up to the surface of the composite material, and preferably one or both surfaces of the composite material are brushed, resulting in higher product quality.

The method of combining the elastic polymer and the fiber structure is not particularly limited, but for example, a method of impregnating a knitted fabric or a woven fabric with an elastic polymer and coagulating it, a method of coating a knitted fabric with an elastic polymer, or a method of coating a knitted fabric with an elastic polymer, or As shown in Publication No. 1-IO'lJAg, a knitted fabric is used as a base fabric, fibers cut into short lengths are entwined with the base fabric, and the resulting split fiber structure is impregnated with an elastic polymer. There are methods.

The tape-like material of the present invention can be knitted into a yokozuna fabric using a flat knitting machine, or an interesting knitted fabric can be produced by cross-knitting it with wool. In addition to flat knitting machines, it can also be used on light knitting machines and used as a red thread insertion yarn or as a weft insertion thread. In addition to these knitted items, it can also be used for braided strings, etc. .

Example: A plain woven fabric with a weight of 0 was produced using polyester fibers of 5d/24R41. Next, the thread of polyester fiber θ/d was cut into a 3ws length, and this thread was dispersed in S-water and sprinkled on the plain woven fabric, and then water was sprayed on the plain woven fabric. /d polyester yarns were thoroughly entangled. This fibrous structure was then impregnated with a polyurethane solution and wet coagulated. Further, after drying, both sides were raised to form a composite with an elastic polymer having a basis weight of λJ OS'/m''.

If the fiber structure does not contain a knitted fabric, the width of the tape cannot be made thinner when knitting using a knitting machine, and the finished knitted fabric (product) cannot be knitted with a coarse gauge knitting machine. It looks rough and has a poor quality feel, making it particularly unsuitable for clothing. Also, when wool is mixed-knitted, the wool is not noticeable and only the tape-like material often stands out, resulting in low product quality.

On the other hand, the tape-like material of the present invention can be made as thin as 3 wIn or less, so a knitting machine with a dense gauge of approximately 3 to 7 can be used, and the finished knitted fabric (product) is smooth and extremely luxurious. When used as clothing, it is possible to create products with a completely new feel, blend well with wool even when knitted with wool, and create a special silk fabric that takes advantage of the texture of wool.

When a tape-like article containing knitted fabric is made into a sweater, for example, it may cause sagging at the elbow due to wear, so-called elbow dropout, and there is little dimensional change in other parts. When worn for a long period of time, tape-like materials that do not come off the elbows are susceptible to dimensional changes in the body as well.
