中央油槽底部のボトムトランスをそのまま残してボトム
トランス上に縦通部材付船倉底板を新設し、また船倉容

て開口を設け、この開口を覆う隆起甲板を上甲板上に新
設し、この隆起甲板を切断、徹去した口上甲板の鋼材を
流用して製作し、隆起甲板に積荷(鉱石)を出し入れす
るハツチを設けるよっにした油槽船の改造方法に係わる
ものであり、従来のようにウィングタンクなどの補修、
改造工事を行う必要がなく、また撤去甲板を隆起甲板に
流用するので改造費を安価にすることができ、さらに船
倉底板の断面形状が、積荷を船体中心方向に集め易いの
で荷役効率を向上させ得るなとの利点を有するものて゛
