[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention is applicable to brush tips that can be used for brushes, sketching brushes, makeup brushes such as eyeliners, and brush-like pen nibs such as synthetic resin pen nibs that can produce brush-like handwriting. Alternatively, there are brush-like writing instruments that require a relatively large amount of ink in which the ink is forcibly sent out from the ink chamber during writing, or pens with a raw ink structure that has built-in pigment-based ink. This relates to the improvement of writing implements, and its purpose is to prevent ink from dripping when it is forcibly delivered to the pen tip, and to prevent ink from running out during writing.

A typical example is an ink flow rate regulating comb commonly known as a bellows structure, but this has a complicated structure and cannot be manufactured at low cost. In this case, the ink flow rate regulator could not absorb the liquid pressure during the delivery, and the ink was delivered straight to the writing pen tip, causing the risk of dripping.

In addition, a method with a simple structure, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 48-36844, has a porous suction ink storage device arranged around the pen tip, and the ink that flows out excessively is temporarily stored in the ink storage device. There is also a type that allows the ink to be left in the pen, but if it is used in a writing instrument that forcibly sends ink out, like the one in this invention, the ink from the ink chamber will be sent straight to the nib, similar to the drawbacks mentioned above. The drawback is that the ink cannot be held completely within the pen nib, which tends to cause dripping.

In the present invention, an ink discharge control member is disposed at a portion where ink forcibly discharged from the ink chamber flows into the ink relay wick and at a portion where ink discharged from the tip of the ink relay wick flows into the pen nib. Prevents ink from being ejected straight to the pen tip and dripping, and absorbs excess ink by installing an ink absorber around the outer periphery of the ink relay core to prevent ink from running out while writing. This is what I did.

An ink relay wick 8, which is made of a bundle of axially oriented bosster fibers, acrylic fibers, etc., and which allows ink to flow mainly in the axial direction, is fitted therein, and an ink storage body 9 made of sponge or the like is fitted around the outer periphery of the holder 5. It is arranged.

Regarding the capillary gap between the ink relay core 8 and the ink discharge control member 10.11, in order to prevent the ink from reaching the pen tip straight, the ink discharge control member 10.11 is set closer to the ink relay core 8 than the ink discharge control member 10.11. In addition, instead of using a porous material such as a sponge or nonwoven fabric as an ink discharge control member, it is preferable to keep the ink tightly closed. may be set.

Further, the ink relay core may have two or more ink relay cores 13a and 13b arranged in series as shown in FIG. In the former case, the flow of ink discharged into the ink relay wick in the axial direction is adjusted by the boundary surface, and the axial cylinder 1 is carelessly pressed many times, resulting in a large amount of ink being ejected. Even if it is sent out, it is expected to have an even better effect in that it does not reach the pen tip directly, and in the latter case, the ink relay core can be easily inserted into the holder, and other functions are fully satisfied. Since it is superior in this point, it may be covered with a nonwoven fabric or the like instead of the film 14.

According to the present invention, the ink forcibly discharged from the ink chamber does not flow straight into the ink relay wick, but is controlled to flow sideways by the ink discharge control member, and this ink is absorbed into the ink storage body. The ink that flows out from the tip of the ink relay core gradually flows into the nib through the ink discharge control member, so the ink does not drip from the nib, and when the ink at the nib becomes low during writing, it is rolled around the outer periphery of the ink relay core. Since the ink in the ink absorber, which is the rotor, flows to the ink relay core and flows to the pen tip, there is no possibility of running out of ink.

In addition, when a brush-like nib is used as a pen nib, which requires a relatively large amount of ink when writing, the effect is remarkable.
