Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the passing capacity of ink, by using a monofilament with a denier of 7-30 wherein polyester is dispersed in nylon 6 in a streaked state while the mixing ratio of polyester and nylon 6 is set to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:Polyester and nylon 6 are mixed in a ratio of 10-30pts.wt./ 90-70pts.wt. and the resulting mixture is subjected to melt spinning to prepare a monofilament with a denier of 7-30 wherein polyester is dispersed in nylon 6 in a streaked state of 0.1mum or less. This monofilament is used in all of a weft yarn and/or warp yarn to fabricate a printing screen gauze. The obtained screen gauze is excellent in durability and ink holdability, has good dimensional stability and can be sufficiently used in fine and precise printing. In addition, it can be suitably used in usual printing.

Recently, the designs in screen printing have become more delicate and complex, and as the kneading process progresses, η゛1 with a high weave density is used.
As 111 precision lean gauze has been in demand, there has been a strong desire to improve the disadvantage of poor monthly stability of screen gauze made of polyamide fibers.

If the amount of chill mixed is less than 10 parts by weight, the stability cannot be improved to 1 minute. T: If the amount is more than 30 parts by weight, the fineness unevenness in the length direction of the fibers will be too large, making it unsuitable for screen gauze. The appropriate mixing amount is 10-3
0 parts by weight, preferably 15 to 25 parts by weight. By adjusting the mixing ratio within the range of the present invention, the polyester can be incorporated into the polyamide in the form of fine lines.
