Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a tube cleaner having easily detachable housing cases which are highly reliable in attaching, by attaching the cases to both ends of a water tube utilizing the tensile stress of a string body. CONSTITUTION:Cleaner cases 5 and 5' are attached to both ends of a tube 2 which is attached to tube plates 3 and 3'. A string body 10 piercing through the tube 2, and the cases 5 and 5' on both sides, is used for attaching. The cases 5 and 5' are fixed to both tube plates 3 and 3' by the tensile force of the string body 10 of which both ends are fixed to fixing plates 11 and 11'. A cleaner 6 is made hollow and the string body 10 pierces through the hole 61 of a cleaner. Accordingly, the cleaner 6 performs reciprocating movement from right to left along the string body 10.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a tube cleaning device for a heat exchanger. In particular, when a container is installed at both ends of the tube and a cleaning material such as a brush or sponge ball is moved around the inside of the tube to clean it, the direction of the internal fluid flow is directed in the forward direction using a valve provided at the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger. The present invention also relates to a tube cleaning device for a heat exchanger that cleans the inner walls of the tubes by applying cleaning material while switching in the opposite direction at appropriate times.

Conventionally, cleaning material storage containers are provided in the water chambers at both ends of the heat exchanger to store cleaning materials, but these storage containers are attached to both ends of each individual tube, so that the storage containers do not come off the tubes. Alternatively, a groove may be cut into the inner surface of the tube and the container may be fixed by expanding the tube, or the end of the container may be made into a separate elastic structure so that only the end can be removed.

With the method of fixing the container as is, it is difficult to replace the cleaning material if the internal cleaning material becomes damaged, and with the method of making the end part removable, it is possible to maintain the cleaning material, but
The main body of the container must be removed by gluing or expanding the tube. If there are many tubes in J-, it will take a lot of effort, and installation methods such as gluing and tube expansion may be difficult.
However, they had drawbacks such as low reliability, cracking due to excessive tube expansion, and disconnection due to insufficient tube expansion.

This invention attempts to eliminate these drawbacks, and by making it possible to reach both ends of the water pipe using the tension of the string-like body, the reliability of the installation is high.
Moreover, it is possible to provide a tube cleaning device having a simple container for adding and removing the tube.

To explain the figure, Fig. 1 shows a conventional device,
The tubes 2 in the heat exchanger 1 are inserted into the tube plate 3 by a method such as tube expansion. There are water chambers 4 at both ends of the heat exchanger.
The fluid flows into the water chamber 4, passes through the tube 2, and flows out from the ice chamber on the opposite side.A storage container 5 is attached to both ends of the tube by a method such as gluing or tube expansion.
A tube cleaning material 6 is stored therein. In FIG. 1, the flow direction of the fluid in the tube is rightward in the drawing, so the cleaning material 6 is stored in the container 5 on the right side. The flow also flows from the left side to the right side as shown by arrow R in the figure, from the tube 2 to the storage container 5 on the right side of the tube, and through the small hole 51 of the storage container.
It flows out into the water chamber 4 on the right side.

(The structure on the left side of the heat exchanger is the same as the right side and is not shown in the diagram.) By switching the valve (not shown) connected to the heat exchange entrance and exit, the flow direction can be reversed to the left. For example, the cleaning material 6 is pushed from the container by the fluid that has entered the small hole 52 at the left end of the container 5 and enters the tube 2, and is pushed inside the tube 2 by the fluid from behind, cleaning the inside of the tube 2. , is held in a receptacle similarly mounted within the water chamber (not shown) on the opposite side of the flow.

As mentioned above, this conventional device requires a lot of effort to install the storage container, and has low reliability (. The cleaning material storage containers 5.5' are attached to both ends of the tube 2 attached to the tube plate 3.3'. Using a penetrating string-like body 10,
By means of fixing plates 11,11' fixed at both ends, the container is fixed to both tube sheets by the tension of the string. The cleaning material 6 is formed hollow, and the string-like body 10 passes through a hole 61 in the cleaning material. Therefore, the cleaning material 6 reciprocates from side to side along the string-like body 10.
