Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a fast response by extending a sheet spring made of a non-magnetic material between layers of an armature formed in more than one layers exposedly to make an armature return spring. CONSTITUTION:The state of open pole in which no voltage is applied to a coil 2 is as illustrated. When an voltage is applied to the coil 2, a magnetic circuit is formed through a yoke 1 and an armature 3 and an eddy current in the armature 3 by a resultant magnetic flux is broken with a sheet spring 3d made of a non-magnetic material and become so hard to flow that the flux will flow easily thereby allowing the rising characteristic of the magnetic flux to be steep. The armature 3 is attracted onto the surface 1c contacting an electrode of the yoke 1 and at the same time, it hits a printing wire 4 at a free end 3c thereof 3 to strike a dot. Then, upon the release of the voltage application, an eddy current tends to generate and made hard to flow with the sheet spring 3d thereby creating steepness in the falling characteristic of the flux.

A conventional general electromagnetic device for dot printers is shown in FIG. In the figure, A is a substantially U-shaped yoke, and B is a coil installed on the yoke A. C is a yoke, and the proximal end C1 of this armature is in contact with one support surface A1 of the yoke stand and serves as a fulcrum;
The intermediate portion C2 faces the other armature surface A2 of the yoke B, and the free end C3 is in contact with the printing wire E. D is the amateur return spring, which is attached to the base end C1 of the amateur C.
is pressed, and an urging force is applied to the armature C using the support surface A1 of the yoke A as a fulcrum. E is a printing wire that prints a dot on its tip. F is a wire return spring that constantly returns the printing wire to the return position and brings the base end of the printing wire E into contact with the free end of the armature C. This conventional technology has the following problems.

1) When voltage is applied to coil B, magnetic flux is generated in armature C and yoke A. At this time, eddy current is generated in the magnetic path, and the rise of magnetic flux is delayed. To solve this problem, conventionally, yoke A was constructed with a laminated structure. However, similar measures have not been taken for the amateur C, and a satisfactory high-speed response cannot be obtained as an electromagnet device for a dot printer.

2) Since the armature C and the armature return spring D are composed of separate parts, it becomes a two-free wide system, which increases the variation in operating characteristics and complicates assembly.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned points, and has a structure in which the armature is laminated, a thin plate spring made of a non-magnetic material is interposed between the layers, and this spring is used as a spring for returning the armature. The object of the present invention is to obtain an electromagnet device for a dot printer that reduces current, is highly stable, and is easy to assemble.

(Embodiment) The following description will be made based on FIG. 3 shown as an embodiment of the present invention. Reference numeral 1 denotes a substantially U-shaped yoke that magnetically couples two cores la and 1b arranged in parallel. One end surface of one core of this yoke is an armature surface 1C, and one end surface of the other core is a support surface 1d. 2 is the core 1a of the yoke;
This is a coil wound on one side of the lb. Reference numeral 3 denotes armatures arranged so as to straddle both end surfaces 1c and 1d of the yoke. The base end portion 3a is pressed against the support surface 1d of the yoke 1, the intermediate portion 5b faces the polarizing surface 1c of the yoke 1, and the free end portion 5c is in contact with the end of the printing wire 4. Furthermore, this armature has a two-layer laminated structure as shown in FIG. 3, and a thin plate spring 3d made of a non-magnetic material is interposed between the layers, and the thin plate spring 6
An exposed extended spring portion d is formed, and its extended end portion is fixed. At this time, amateur 3 is on support surface 1 of yoke 1.
An urging force in the direction of the arrow W is generated with d as the fulcrum. Therefore, the exposed extension portion 3C of the thin plate spring 3d corresponds to the amateur return spring D of the conventional example. 4 is a printing wire that prints dots at its tip. Reference numeral 5 denotes a spring for returning the printing wire 4. As a result, the base end of the printing wire 4 is always in contact with the free end filter C of the armature filter and follows along with the movement of the armature filter 3.

(Operation) Next, the operation of one embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on FIG. 2. The figure shows an open state in which no voltage is applied to the coil 2. Now when voltage is applied to coil 2, yoke 1,
A magnetic circuit is formed through the armature 6, and the armature 3 due to this magnetic flux can make the sex steeper. The armature 5 is then attracted to the armature surface 1C of the yoke 1.

At the same time, at the free end 3C of the armature 3, the printing wire 4
, and make a dot with the tip of the wire 4. Next, when the voltage application is removed, the magnetic flux of the armature 3 is also cut off, and an eddy current is about to occur in the magnetic path, but the thin plate spring 3d makes it difficult to flow and makes the falling characteristic of the magnetic flux steep. Furthermore, the armature 3 is moved by the biasing force in the direction of the arrow W by the exposed extension spring portion 3e of the thin plate spring 3d.
It is intended to restore. The printing wire 4 also returns following this amateur action.

As described above, the armature that straddles both end faces of the U-shaped yoke has two or more layers, and a thin plate spring made of a non-magnetic material is interposed between the layers, and the spring is extended to serve as an armature return spring. Therefore, the wax current in the armature is separated by a non-magnetic material, and the thin plate spring can serve as the armature and the armature return spring. Compared to the case in which a separate return spring was configured for a dot printer, the rise and fall characteristics of the magnetic flux are improved due to the reduction of the thin current, and the high-speed response as an electromagnetic device for dot printers is improved. By eliminating and integrating it, it becomes a one-degree-of-freedom system and the precision of the biasing force applied to the armature can be increased, which has the effect of improving printing quality as an electromagnet device for dot printers and making assembly easier.
