Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a sound-insulating coating material for the interior and exterior coating of a house, capable of simultaneously performing finish coating and sound-insulation, having excellent sound-insulating performance, and applicable freely irrespective of the kind, shape and size of the object to be coated, by mixing a binding component with a sound-insulation material having sound- insulating characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The objective coating material can be prepared by mixing (A) a binder component (e.g. acrylic resin emulsion, etc.) with (B) 30-70wt% (for the coating thickness of 1-3mm.) of a sound-insulating material (e.g. powder of barium sulfate having a grain size of 50-200mu) and if necessary, (C) aggregate, colorant, etc. EFFECT:Sound-insulation work can be carried out to a newly-built house as well as an existing house without necessitating the reconstruction work for sound- insulation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a sound-insulating coating material.゛In recent years, due to the rise in land prices, the density of housing and the formation of multi-family housing has become noticeable, especially in urban areas. As a result, the noise from the neighboring residences is a constant source of noise.

A problem is occurring. Furthermore, houses near roads and railways were constantly exposed to traffic noise. However, since 1977, it has not been possible to easily perform sound insulation work on existing houses, especially concrete-structured (apartment) houses, and some kind of countermeasure was needed.

The sound-insulating coating material of the present invention was created as a result of consideration in response to such small circumstances, and its outline is that a sound-insulating material with sound-insulating properties is mixed into the bonded component, and the coating material is adjusted as necessary. The appearance, the aggregate that gives the color tone, the coating, and the use of the sound-insulating coating material will be explained. It is judged that conventionally used paint resins can be used for hardness, binding, and ingredients, but the coating film performance is weather resistance, adhesion, miscibility with aggregate, salt water resistance, etc. There is no need to particularly limit the resin component. The binding component may consist of only a resin component, or may include a resin component and a medium such as a solvent or moisture.

Materials (for example, acrylic resin, urekure resin, epoxy resin, synthetic resin component of vinyl acetate fertilizer, dissolving these synthetic resins in organic solvents or stagnant water) A synthetic resin liquid or a resin emulsion or rubber latex made by dispersing a rubber component in water can be used.
It may also be glued with cM'c or the like. ' □ Materials with large sound transmission loss such as barium sulfate, lead carbonate, lead chromate, lead oxide, lead powder, and lead fiber are suitable for the sound insulation material. The form is powder,
Available in granular or fibrous form, resin is selected.

The mixing ratio of the sound insulating material to the bonding component needs to be determined by taking into account the sound insulating performance, the shape of the sound insulating material, and the particle size. 30-7
0% by weight is suitable. Of course, other mixing ratios may be used as long as there is no problem with the coating properties and sound insulation performance of the coating material, but if it exceeds 70%, the coating properties may decrease and the adhesion to the base material may decrease, so it is preferable. do not have. On the other hand, if it is less than 30, the sound insulation performance cannot be ensured, which is not desirable.

The sound-insulating coating material of the present invention can be applied to interior and exterior surfaces, the type and shape of the material to be coated, and the size of the surface to be coated as desired, just like ordinary coating materials. Because it has excellent sound insulation performance, it can be used to apply sound insulation to new or existing houses at the same time as finishing the coating. Therefore, there will be no need for any renovation work on the sound insulation basin.
