As disclosed in Publication No. 069 (3. Outside air is introduced into the passenger compartment from the outside air inlet at the front of the vehicle body by the wind pressure during driving or the action of the fan of the air conditioner, This is done by exhausting the dirty air through ventilation holes installed at the rear of the car body or through gaps between various parts of the car body.

Forced ventilation is operated unnecessarily even when the introduction passage is closed, resulting in overload of the fan motor and impairing its durability.

The above-mentioned fan motor drive switch is connected to the inside/outside air switching lever so as to be closed when outside air is taken in, and a switch that opens and closes depending on the vehicle speed is inserted in the fan drive circuit. Forced ventilation can be performed easily and efficiently, and the fan motor can be prevented from being driven pointlessly with the outside air inlet port closed, so that the durability of the fan motor is not impaired.
