Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は、スポーツに使用する各種の中空ボールに関
するもので、その目的とするところは、中空ボールの内
面に特殊加工を施して、充填したガスその他の気体の内
部気圧を半永久的に維持せしめて耐久力を増大し、プレ
ー中ニ打球感が変化しないようにすることにある。
従来からスポーツに使用する各種の中空ボールは内部に
空気を注入して所要の内部気圧の下に使用するものであ
るが、従来ボールの内面は通常のゴム又は合成ゴムであ
ったから、打球その他の外圧等によって徐々に空気漏れ
が生じて内部気圧が低下し、必然的にボールの弾性が劣
化または減少するためプレー中の打球感が変化し、例え
ばバレーボールではサーブやレシーブが変調になって平
凡なミスが増加する。従って、ボールを交換して空気漏
れボールに空気を補充しなければ再使用できない欠点が
あった。
この発明はかかる欠点に鑑みて改良したもので、その実
施例を述べると、ボールの内面にガスその他の気体を通
さない物質層を設けたことを特徴とするボールである。
なお該気体の一種として例えば分子が大きいガス体構造
の異る漏れにくいガスあるいは成分の異るガスを単独又
は混合して充填すると効果は良好である。
この発明は上記のようにボールの内面を構成したから、
外層を従来品と同様にしても、ガスその他の気体を充填
して所要の内部気圧にすると、通常の打球その他の外圧
では気体漏れのおそれがなくなり、所要の内部気圧を半
永久的に維持することができる。
かくて、従来のボールにみられる空気漏れに起因するボ
ールの弾性の劣化又は減少から生ずる打球感の変化をき
たさず、従ってミスプレーが予防できボールの交換を要
せず外皮層の損耗まで継続して使用できる特徴があり、
画期的なボールが提供できる。

    を設けたことを特徴とするボール。 ２　前記ボールに漏れにくいガスを充填したことを特徴
    とするボール。
