Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. エンジンの軽負荷域等で燃料の供給が遮断され作動を休
    止する休止側気筒と、常時作動する稼動側気筒とを備え
    、これら休止側気筒と稼動側気筒に対応して吸気通路を
    絞弁の下流にて休止側吸気通路と稼動側吸気通路とに分
    割し、休止側吸気通路の上流部を前記気筒の休止時に閉
    じる遮断弁を設けた多気筒エンどンにおいて、前記遮断
    弁の下流に絞弁をバイパスして新気を導（新気供給通路
    と、前記稼動側吸気通路および休止側吸気通路にそれぞ
    れ分岐通路を介してエンジンの排気の一部を分配還流す
    る排気還流通路とを形成し、前記気筒の作動時に新気供
    給通路を閉じ両分岐蓬路を開く一方、休止時に休止側の
    分岐通路を閉じ新気供給通路をエンジンの回転数に応じ
    て所定量開く弁手段を一体的に介装したことを特徴とす
    る気筒数制御エンジン。
