Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

A grasping claw with a pair of opposing grasping parts pivoted to the main body by a pivot so that they can be opened and closed apart from each other on parallel planes; and a pivot for pivoting the grasping pawl to the main body at the end of the output member of the drive so as to be pivotable such that the ends engaging the grasping pawl move in mutually opposite directions about the pair of grasping pawls. A workpiece grasping device comprising a balance member pivotally mounted at right angles to each other and a drive device provided in a main body for driving an output member so that the balance member moves in a direction intersecting the balance member so as to open and close a grasping claw.
