Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide effective sand paper by mixing grind grains and liquefied paper material for producing paper, sprinkling grind grains onto wet paper or coating completed paper with grind grains to permit the paper to be uniformly impregnated with grind grains. CONSTITUTION:Grind grains mixed into water through a constant volume pump are continuously cast into a flow box of a circular net type paper marking machine for making paper. Or grind grains are continuously cast from an apparatus 23 onto a completely liquefied paper material in a stock inlet 21 of a long net type paper making machine 20, or grind grains are continuously uniformly sprinkled from the apparatus 23 onto a wet paper layer flowed from a stock inlet onto a wire part 22 to form sand paper impregnated with grind grains. In a further method, a completed paper is impregnated from the both sides with grind grains mixed into water through a coating unit or injected from a nozzle of a dumping unit. Thus, the grind grains put into the paper are exposed on the surface every time it is rubbed so that effective grinding can be effected.

Conventional coated abrasive paper is made by adhering abrasive grains or fine abrasive powder to a desired surface using a synthetic resin or an adhesive such as glue. Therefore, the number of steps increases because it is bonded secondarily after the papermaking process, and since the abrasive is on the surface, it is difficult to use it for finishing 6R polishing work.

This invention involves continuously adding abrasive fine powder to a completely liquid paper stock dissolved in water during the papermaking process, and continuously sprinkling the abrasive fine powder onto wet paper, or coating the finished paper. To provide a paper making method and abrasive paper in which the white paper is uniformly impregnated with the abrasive fine powder by damping or the like.

According to this invention, there is no need to add abrasive fine powder as a secondary addition after the paper making process, and it is not necessary to add abrasive fine powder to completely liquid paper stock during the paper making process, or to sprinkle the abrasive fine powder on wet paper. Alternatively, the finished paper can be coated and damped to uniformly impregnate the white paper with the abrasive powder, thereby eliminating the step of adhering the abrasive powder. Therefore, in the case of conventional coated abrasive paper, the abrasive powder is uniformly dispersed and impregnated into the white paper, compared to the case where abrasive grains are coated with an adhesive on the front, back, or both sides of the paper. Therefore, this abrasive paper not only removes dust but also
The oil film can also be wiped off, and the polished surface of the workpiece is not damaged and a mirror-like luster can be obtained by final polishing.
