Abstract

PURPOSE:To satisfactorily wind a flexible film-shaped base without a winding slippage and the transferring of a winding core by forming annular projection parts on both end parts of the winding core and winding said base such that both end parts of said base cover said projection parts in a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION:A winding core 1 winds with a high speed, e.g., a photographic film base 2. In this case, both end parts of the winding core 1 are formed higher than a truk part 1a and into an annular projection part 1b, and the base is wound such that both ends of said base 2 get on said projection part. Further, said base 2 is fixed in its end part on the trunk part 1a of the winding core 1 by means of a winding core sticking tape 3, and wound. Hereby, both end parts of said base 2 are rigidly wound around the annular projection parts 1b, while loosely between said projection parts 1b, so that losses of the base ends and a tape sticked part caused by winding core transfer are reduced, preventing a winding slippage to be produced.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a high-speed winding method for a flexible film-like base, and in particular, it is possible to easily and reliably wind a long flexible film-like base around a winding core at high speed. The present invention relates to a high-speed winding method for a flexible film base, which eliminates winding deviation and core transfer and provides a good winding condition.

For example, in the manufacturing process of photographic film, a method of winding a flexible film-like base around a core is to apply an emulsion to a formed film base and send it to a drying section, thereby drying the photographic film base. It may be wound onto a core. In this winding process, as the film length of the photographic film becomes longer and the winding speed increases, winding misalignment tends to occur. In order to prevent this winding misalignment, the winding tension should be increased to the extent that the photographic film can withstand the pressure, or the width of the embossment should be made wider, such as by providing band-shaped embossments on both ends of the film base. This is countered by increasing the height of the irregularities and adding embossing to both sides.

However, in the method of increasing the winding tension, there is a lot of loss at the end of the winding core or at the end of the tape due to tape transfer. Further, there are problems such as fogging due to pressure and damage caused by scratches during winding.

On the other hand, the method based on the Enzes effect uses cellulose triacetate (TAO
) In the case of pace, the emboss marking depth tends to be uneven,
To compensate for this, winding with high tension will lengthen both sides of the pace and eliminate the embedding effect. Furthermore, when multiple layers of emulsion are applied to the film surface, there are problems such as the film thickness becomes higher than that of Endes, and the effect is lost.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and by winding the core side of the flexible film base tightly, the problem of the problem that occurs due to the lengthening of the original volume and the speeding up of the winding speed is reduced. It is possible to prevent winding misalignment, and also prevent the occurrence of winding misalignment of the original winding that has no embossed effect, and enables low tension winding, which effectively eliminates pressure fog and tape transfer loss at the end and sticking of the core. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for high-speed winding of a flexible film-like paste, which can prevent such problems and obtain a good winding condition.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a method for winding a flexible film base onto a core at high speed, in which both ends of the core are enlarged by a predetermined amount according to the diameter of the core to form an annular protrusion. None, the flexible film-like base is characterized in that both ends of the flexible film-like base are wound up so that a predetermined range covers the annular protrusion. More specifically, the flexible film-like base is a photographic film base, and the diameter of both ends of the core is 0.5 to 5 inches larger than the diameter of the core. Pace running speed is 20
Winding at a high speed of fn/jIm or more, and in such a manner that both ends of the flexible film base touch the annular protrusions at both ends of the winding core within a range of 0.5 to 10 inches of the full width of the pace per side. Contains.

Wind up at a high speed of WL or higher. In this embodiment, the photographic film base 2 is made of emulsion-coated cellulose triacetate (TAO) paste having a width of 1230 m, a length of the original roll of 12500 m, and a thickness of -120 .mu.m. Then, both ends of the winding core 1 are placed at a height h=approximately 2 to 311I1 from the body 1a.

The end portion of this photographic film base 2 is fixed to the body portion 1a of the core 1 with a core attaching tape 3 and then wound. That is, both ends of the photographic film base 2 are tightly wound around the raised annular protrusions 1b and lb, while the area between the annular protrusions ib and ib can be wound loosely on the inside of the original roll. When attaching pace terminals or tape, there is no loss due to transfer of parts, etc. to the winding core.

In the above embodiment, the annular protrusions 1b at both ends of the core 1,
The height of the lb is about 2 mm to 31 mm, but it is not limited to this and may be raised within the range of 1 mm to 10 mm. Make it 0.5-5% larger than the diameter. Further, the annular protrusions 1b and lb may be formed integrally with the winding core 1, or may be formed separately from the winding core l and attached at both ends. Also, the annular protrusions 1b , 1b and the winding core 1 may be stepped as shown in FIG. 1', or may be inclined as shown in FIG.

Furthermore, the annular protrusions 1b and lb may be engraved with irregularities in the same way as embossing. Then, the photographic film base 2 is wound up so that the width d=15+n~20mm is bent over the core.
The annular protrusion 1b, Ib at both ends has a base width of 0.0 mm per side.
It is advisable to wind up the windings in a range of 5 to 10 times. It goes without saying that the width, length and thickness of the photographic film base 2 are not limited to those described above. And photographic film base 2 is triacetate cellulose (TA)

In this way, according to the present invention, by raising both ends of the core and winding it up, the ends of the flexible film-like paste can be tightly and securely wound, which can cause problems caused by winding up due to longer lengths and higher speeds. It is possible to prevent the winding from slipping easily. Especially in the case of photosensitive materials such as photographic film bases,
There is no problem since both ends are discarded. At the same time, by winding both ends of the core high, the inner side of the original winding can be wound loosely, so that there is no loss due to transfer of the core, such as pace ends and tape attachment parts, and a good winding condition can be obtained.
