CONSTITUTION:Reference tracks t1 and t2 are provided on both side edges of a magnetic tape 5 and reproducing heads S1 and S2 are arranged in opposition to the tracks at distance. 及びアジマス角を高精度に維持することは困難であり、
情報処理の信頼性の面で問題を有する。

再生を異なる機構系で行なう場合に有効であり、従来の
固定テープガイドタイプのもの等ではなし得なかったト
ラック配列密度の向上とトラック走行方向の記録密度の
向上が図れる。
