フトに軸線方向に摺動自在に嵌合しポンプインペラとタ
ービンランナーとで1ルクコンバータ室を画威し、コン
バータカバーとロックアツプピストンとでロックアツプ
室を画成し、該ロックアツプ室にトルクコンバータ室に
供給される作動油より高圧の作動油を供給して非ロツク
アップ状態を与え、作動油をドレンしてロックアツプ状
態を与えるロックアップ付トルクコンバータにおいて、
ロックアツプ解除時初期にコンバータカバーとロックア
ツプピストンの軸線方向の相対移動に応じて軸線方向に
相対移動する少なくとも一対の短筒部材にて構成され、
ドレン用の流路を有する絞り部ヲ、コンバータカバー、
ロックアツプピストン間に介在させ、ロックアツプ解除
時初期のみにロックアツプ室の作動油の流通を大幅に制
