Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare easily and freely a negative of a picture image by hand writing by forming a black coating film on a transparent plastic film with a black coating liquid of a specific formulation. CONSTITUTION:Carbon black is dispersed in an emulsion of low-molecular weight polyethylene wax or crystalline wax. An aq. soln. of polyvinyl alcohol, CMC, or polyvinyl acetate or an emulsion thereof is added thereto. A black coating liquid is prepd. by further adding ethylene glycol, glycerin or the like to said mixture. A negative film having a black coating film is obtd. by applying the coating liquid to a transparent plastic film and drying. Since the black film formed on the negative film is not a continuous film, an optionally white negative film is easily prepared if a desired pattern is drawn with a pointed tool. A positive may be prepd. therefrom, or a plate for letter printing may be obtd. by printing the drawn picture image on a photosensitive resin plate.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a negative film for toys, and more particularly to a negative film for toys that is used to print an arbitrary image on photographic paper or printing plate as a blank image by irradiating it with sunlight or ultraviolet rays. be.

The purpose is to provide a film that allows a user to easily and freely create a negative image of a desired image by hand when superimposed on photographic paper and printed like a toy called a so-called sunlight photograph.

Conventionally, the negative film for this type of toy is a transparent film with a negative image printed by white printing (the image area is transparent and the non-image area is black or other light-opaque coloring). . This is superimposed on photographic paper coated with a photosensitizer and printed to produce a positive image on the photographic paper. A photosensitive resin plate is used as the photographic paper, and when the image area is photocured and developed by washing with water, it becomes a letterpress printing plate as it is, so it can be printed using printing ink.

As mentioned above, negatives for toys are usually ready-made products with characters and the like printed in white, so they are uninteresting and easy to get bored with. If you can freely obtain anything you want, you can make a plate of the desired picture or text and print it, which makes it even more interesting. When used, the printed plate becomes concave in the image area and convex in the non-image area, resulting in a negative image when printed. Therefore, in order to obtain a positive print, whiteout is required. You must draw a picture or write the words.

The present invention solves these problems and makes it possible to obtain a blank negative image simply by drawing any picture or character with a pen or other sharp tool, making it extremely easy to make positive prints and letterpress printing plates. The purpose is to provide a negative film for toys that can be made.

That is, the present invention involves adding a fraction of carbon black to an emulsion of low molecular weight polyethylene or microcrystalline wax, adding one or more aqueous solutions or emulsions of polyvinyl alcohol, CMC, methyl cellulose, vinyl acetate, etc., and further adding ethylene glycol, This negative film for toys is made by applying a black coating solution containing one or more of glycerin and polypropylene glycol, and adding a small amount of antifoaming agent if necessary, to a transparent plastic film and drying it to form a black film.

The black coating liquid in the present invention usually has a molecular weight of 4000.
Based on an emulsified dispersion of low molecular weight polyethylene or microcrystalline wax of ~5000, carbon black of 10 to 70% solid content, preferably 10 to 50%, is added to make a black liquid, and further polyvinyl alcohol, CMC , 5 to 10% solid content of an aqueous solution such as methylcellulose or an emulsion such as vinyl acetate, and 1 to 5% of the total weight of one or more of ethylene glycol, glycerin, polypropylene glycol, etc. Manufactured by adding %. In this case, if bubbles are trapped, it is desirable to add a small amount of a silicone antifoaming agent, for example.
This coating liquid is applied onto a transparent plastic film such as polyester, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl chloride, etc. by roll coating or knife coating,
dry.

The reason why an emulsion of low molecular weight polyethylene or microcrystalline wax is used as the main component in the present invention is that the dry film is an aggregate of fine particles and it is necessary not to form a continuous film. If it is a continuous film, the entire film will peel off when scratched, or if the adhesion to the plastic film is too strong, it will not be easy to draw out.

According to the present invention, since the coated black film part does not form a continuous film, if you write with a sharp object such as an iron pen, you can easily scrape off only that part, and it can be easily scratched off by scratching. It is possible to create a blank negative film in which only the image is transparent.

The amount of carbon black added is 10 to 70% solid content, preferably 10 to 70%, based on polyethylene or wax.
~50chi is good. If the amount added is too small, the blackness of the dried film will be low and it will not be able to block ultraviolet rays sufficiently, and if the amount added is too large, the black color will fade and stain hands and clothes, which is not desirable. If only the above two materials are used, the dry film will be weak and the product will be damaged during storage.
Especially in the summer, blocking tends to occur due to rising temperatures.
Furthermore, since contact with other objects causes black staining, in order to prevent this, a small amount of a substance that forms a continuous film that also serves as a thickener is added. The amount is usually preferably 5 to 20 times the solid content relative to the base wax, and care must be taken because if the amount added is too large, the dry film will be the same and difficult to scrape.

For this purpose, a 1 to 10% aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol, CMC, methyl cellulose, etc., or vinyl acetate emulsion may be used alone or in combination. Furthermore, if this black film is properly moistened under normal conditions, it will be easier to draw lines clearly, and for this purpose, one or more of ethylene glycol, glycerin, polypropylene glycol, etc. are usually added to the entire solution. It is added in an amount of 1 to 5%.

Also, if the coating solution contains air bubbles during manufacturing, pinholes will form in the dried film and light will pass through, making it impossible to achieve the intended purpose. Therefore, add a small amount of antifoaming agent to remove the coating solution in advance. Must bubble.

The black liquid produced as described above is knife-coated or roll-coated onto a transparent plastic film, usually to a coating density of 50 to 1 zog/m<2>, and dried to form a product.
If you draw pictures or letters on the black liquid coated surface of this product cut into a suitable area with a sharp plastic pen or iron chain,
Only the part that was covered is black! ll! Since the /I quality is surely scraped off and a transparent plastic film comes out in that area, a negative image, that is, a negative film with a white image can be easily obtained. For example, if you put this film on photographic paper coated with a spiran compound and expose it to ultraviolet light, you will get a positive image. Also, place this negative film upside down on a photosensitive resin plate and expose it to sunlight or an ultraviolet lamp. After irradiation, when washed with water, the resin does not dissolve in the white areas because the light passes through them, and the black areas dissolve because they are not exposed to light, resulting in a relief plate.

By adding ink to this plate, it becomes possible to print a positive letterpress.
