Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は電動車両に関し、特に電動車両の駆動電源に関
するものである。
従来、電動車両は鉛蓄電池等の二次電池を駆動電源とし
て用いているが、この場合毎日の充電操作が煩雑なこと
、夜間の無人充電が危険であること、車体重量の大きな
部分を電源重量が占めること等の問題があった。
本発明は上記の問題を解決することを目的としてなされ
たもので、煩雑な充電操作を必要としない、安全で小型
軽艮な電動車両駆動用電源を提供するものである。
上記の目的を達成するため電動車両駆動用電源として燃
料電池と二次電池のノ1イブリッド電源を用い、燃料電
池馨こ電動車両駆動用電源としての役割を持たせるとと
もに、二次電池の充電器としての役割をも担わせること
が、本発明の骨子である。
次に、本発明の一実施例を説明する。ゴルフ場において
クラブバッグを運搬するゴ・レフカートは一日の稼動時
間の大半はゴルフコース中で停止している。このゴルフ
カートに、本発明になる燃料電池と二次電池とを組み合
わせたハイブリッド電源によって駆動される電動車両を
用いると、ゴルフカートの停止中には、燃料電池から鉛
蓄電池等の二次電池に充電し、走行時には燃料電池とと
もに、主として二次電池からの出力によりゴルフカート
を駆動する。これにより、ゴルフカート稼動中の二次電
池は深い放電状悪夢こなることな(ゴルフカート稼動終
了後も二次電池はほぼ充電状態にある。従って、二次電
池はゴルフカートの一日稼動分の容量を有する必要はな
くより小型等り量のものを使用することができるととも
に、煩雑な充電操作を行なう必要もない。
このように、本発明によれば、電動車両から煩雑な充電
操作をなくすることができること、電動車両用電源をよ
り軽量化することが可能なこと等工業的価値甚大である

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)  燃料電池と二次電池とを組み合わせたハイブ
    リッド電源によって駆動することを特徴とする電動車両
  2. (2)  負荷電力か大きいとき燃料電池と二次電池の
    両方から負荷に電力を供給し、負荷電力が小さいときは
    燃料電池から負荷に電力を供給しながら余剰電力で二次
    電池を充電することを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項
    記載の電動車両。
