DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a heat-resistant airtight backing for use in a combustor.

In a conventional combustor, such as a plate burner, as shown in Fig. 1, a backing C is wound around a combustion plate (b) that fits into the burner body a to create a seal between the burner body a and the combustion plate b. In this case, since the backing C requires heat resistance, it is common to use a backing sheet made of ceramic wool or other heat-resistant fibers molded into a felt shape. Since fibers have relatively low strength, they tend to break during handling, and especially when they are cut into pieces as wide as the board thickness of combustion play (b), they are more likely to break, and the corner angle of combustion play (b) is even more likely to occur. When this is bent at an acute angle at the inner part of the sheet, the shear resistance stress due to the wrinkles on the inner part of the sheet and the tensile stress as a compressive reaction force of the wrinkles act on the outer part, causing it to break.
This is accompanied by inconveniences such as losing the sealing effect and losing the sealing effect.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a backing that eliminates such inconvenience, and the backing 5 is interposed between the burner body 3 and the combustion plate 4 fitted therein
In this process, a backing sheet 1 made of ceramic wool or other heat-resistant fibers molded into a felt shape is bonded to the front and back sides of a reinforcing cloth 2 made of glass fiber or other fibers stronger than the backing sheet 1 to form the backing. The backing sheet 1 made up of the
It is made by molding ceramic wool whose main component is 12O3 into a felt shape using an organic binder or the like, and in this case, the sheet 1 is formed to have a thickness approximately half of the required thickness of the backing.

The reinforcing cloth 2 is made of, for example, woven or knitted glass fiber or a blend of ceramic wool or the like with glass fiber, and the sheets 1 are bonded to the front and back surfaces thereof using a heat-resistant adhesive such as silicone rubber.

The combustion plate 4 is fitted onto the burner body 3.
Even if the inner backing sheet 1 is wrinkled at the corners of the plate 4, the shear stress and tensile stress caused by this will be received by the reinforcing fabric 2 and will not act on the outer backing sheet 1. Moreover, the outer backing sheet 1 is gently curved in an arc shape to the outside of the reinforcing cloth 2, and the thinner wall thickness and increased flexibility ensure that the outer backing sheet 1 is prevented from breaking. .

The heat-resistant temperature of the reinforcing cloth 2 made of glass fiber is 1, which is the heat-resistant temperature of the backing sheet 1 made of ceramic wool.
While the high temperature is about 500°C, it is low at about 400°C, but the reinforcing fabric 2 has a high temperature of about 400°C.
There is no problem because the temperature is maintained at a relatively low temperature due to the heat insulating effect of No. 1.

As described above, according to the present invention, the backing sheet 1 is pasted on the front and back sides of the reinforcing cloth 2, and is reinforced by the reinforcing cloth 2 to ensure that it is prevented from breaking during handling or bending, and is not subject to high temperatures. The backing sheet 1 is in contact with the combustion plate 4, and the reinforcing cloth 2 is in contact with the combustion plate 4 at a high temperature.
Since the reinforcing fabric 2 does not come into direct contact with the reinforcing material, and is protected from heat by the insulation effect of the reinforcing fabric 2, it is possible to select and make high-strength fibers without having to worry about heat resistance, resulting in even more effective reinforcement. The backing 5 contacts the burner body 3 and the combustion plate 4 through the felt-like backing sheet 1, so that the adhesion to both is improved. be.
