DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a deinking agent used when recycling old paper from newspapers and magazines. More specifically, the present invention relates to a deashing agent that can obtain deinked pulp with high whiteness and a small number of residual ink when newspapers, magazines, etc. are deinked by the flotation method.

Endogenous reuse of newspapers, magazines, etc. is being carried out from old materials.Effective use of waste paper resources has become increasingly important, especially recently due to the lack of pulp rental and the soaring prices. The use of recycled paper has become more important in the United States due to the increasing emphasis on quality. On the other hand, recently, the use of waste paper has become even more difficult from the point of view of deinking due to changes in printing technology, printing methods, and changes in printing ink components. As the situation continues to change, improvements are being made to the equipment to further facilitate deinking.

Crossing agents traditionally used to separate and remove ink and other impurities from waste paper include alkali agents such as caustic soda, sodium silicate, soda carbonate, and sodium phosphate, hydrogen peroxide,
Whitening agents such as hyposulfite and cumulative hyposulfite, IEDTA,
Along with metal ion sequestering agents such as DTPA, one ion activator such as alkylbenzene sulfonate, 4N furcol #LH ester salt, α-olefin sulfonate, difurkyl sulfonate, sieving alcohol, and furkyl as a deinking agent. Non-ionic surfactants such as phenol and fatty acid ethylene oxide adducts and flucaramites are used singly or in combination of two or more. However, these deinking agents have a low ability to separate and remove ink during flotation treatment, and therefore there has been a demand for the development of a deinking agent that has excellent ink coagulation ability.

Therefore, the inventors of the present invention have excelled in the ability to remove ink from waste paper.
Furthermore, in the flotation phase, a deinking agent should be developed that can adsorb bubbles to the release ink and separate and remove them from the pulp fibers to obtain recycled pulp with high brightness (as a result of intensive research, the following general formula (1) was developed. The present invention was completed by discovering that the deinking agent contained as an essential component of the compound represented by the formula satisfies the above performance.

Therefore, the limitations on the functional groups and numerical values shown in the general formula (1) are both unfortunate and important. As will be clarified by the comparison column below, for example, a compound consisting of an RO- group (R is the same as in formula (1)) instead of an aaoo- group, or a compound that does not contain an (AO)n group (in formula (])) =o) The compound has poor ink release properties and ink aggregation ability during flotation,
Also, RGoo(-AOsn(OH20H20-3-m
Compounds in which the order of addition of fullylene oxide is reversed, such as type H, also have significantly poor ink aggregation ability, making it impossible to obtain high-quality Yumi pulp.
