Reference numeral 20 denotes a remote control component connected by an electrical cord 22 to an electrical component 21 mounted on an electrical component board 15, including an operation blower switch 23 and centrifugal fans 13a, 1.
The centrifugal fans 13a and 13b are equipped with a switch 24 for switching the strength of the fan 3b and automatic switching, a thermolever 25 for temperature adjustment, and a timer lever 26 for setting the operating time. The rotational speed changes at the same time and the air is discharged from the outlet grille 5 to the front in strong or weak wind conditions, and when the switch 24 is operated to the automatic switching side, the centrifugal fan 13a.

The rotational speed of the fan 13b alternately changes steplessly in a reciprocal relationship. For example, when one centrifugal fan 13a reaches its maximum rotational speed and the other centrifugal fan 13b reaches its weakest rotational speed, it rotates as shown by the solid line arrow in FIG. The strong wind sent out from one centrifugal fan 13a overcomes the weak wind sent out from the other centrifugal fan 13b, and the blowing direction from the blowout grille 5 is biased toward the left front. When the other centrifugal fan 13b reaches the strongest rotation state, the strong wind from the centrifugal fan 13b overcomes the weak wind from the centrifugal fan 13a, and the blowing direction moves forward to the right, as shown by the broken line arrow in FIG. The rotational speed changes continuously and steplessly.

) In this way, by controlling the rotational speeds of the centrifugal fans 13a and 13b in a continuously variable manner, the direction of the airflow from the blowout grille 5 is changed to the left and right front, and with the rotational speeds of both fans being the same, the airflow direction is changed to the front and front. The blowing direction can be changed automatically, and the heat exchangers 9a and 9b can be used to blow out air to every corner of the room.
Heat exchange conditioned air can be sent uniformly to every corner of the room.

In addition, the operating blow switch 23 allows ON/OFF operation of the compressor (not shown) and centrifugal fans 13a and 13b in the outdoor air conditioning unit connected to the refrigerant pipe 27, and furthermore, by switching this switch 23, Heat exchanger 9a
, sb can act as an evaporator for cooling operation, and conversely can act as a condenser for heating operation, and the heat exchanger 9a,
By using one side of the fan 9b as an evaporator and the other as a condenser, hot and cold air is mixed on the discharge side of both centrifugal fans 13a and 13b, and the mixture is blown out from the outlet grille 5 as dehumidified air at approximately the same temperature as the intake air. Dehumidification operation is now possible.

In addition, for the discharged air whose discharge direction is changed to the left and right forward by automatic switching of the strength of the centrifugal fans 13a and 13b, a large number of air direction changing plates 28 are arranged side by side only in the direction that intersects with this discharge direction, that is, only in the horizontal direction. It is attached to the blow-off grille 5 so as to be movable up and down, so that the blow-out direction can be changed to the left and right as well as up and down directions.

The air conditioner of the present invention is constructed as described above, and the back plate 3 and the decorative case body 4 are assembled by simply covering the decorative case body 4 over the back plate 3 from the front, and forming the decorative case body 4 on the upper and lower side walls, respectively. Assembly can be completed by simply screwing the screws 31 into the screw holes 29 and 30, and the hook 32 formed on the back of the back plate 3 is connected to a lock (not shown) attached to the indoor wall surface 1. If it is fitted, it can be easily installed on the indoor wall surface 1.

Work can be done easily.

By assembling the decorative case body 4 to the back plate 3, the heat exchangers 9a and 9b are connected to the suction grilles 6.7 through the inner wall surface 11 of the back plate 3 and the inner peripheral wall surface of the decorative case body 4, respectively. A ventilation path is formed for the indoor air to reach the centrifugal fans 13a and 13b via the casing 19, and the guide wall, which was conventionally connected to the casing 19 as a ventilation path, is also used as the back plate 3 and the decorative case body 4. We are trying to reduce the number of parts.

Moreover, since the heat exchangers 9a and 9b are divided into two parts and arranged in this ventilation passage, the width of the ventilation passage for indoor air formed by the back plate 3 and the decorative case body 4 is smaller than that of the centrifugal fans 13a and 13b. It can be determined by the depth dimension of the decorative case body 4 necessary for covering, in other words, the centrifugal fan 13a,
The depth dimension of the decorative case body 4 is determined by the total dimension of the outer diameter of the decorative case body 13b, the wall thickness dimensions of the back plate 3 and the decorative case body 4, and the depth and width dimensions of the wind direction changing plate 28, and this depth dimension is actually measured. As a result, it was proved that an ultra-thin shape of 120 mm could be made.

This is due to the fact that two elongated centrifugal fans 13a and 13b are used as left and right suction and front blowing fans, thereby reducing the outer diameter of each fan.

In addition, by bending the heat exchangers 9a and 9b into a curved shape and forming the suction grille 6.7 on the peripheral wall surface of the decorative case body 4, a sufficient amount of ventilation can be achieved even if the width of the ventilation passage is kept small. Furthermore, the back plate 3 is made of a hard synthetic resin material such as FRP sufficient to support centrifugal fans 13a, 13b, motors 14a, 14b, heat exchangers 9a, 9b, etc., and the decorative case body 4 has sufficient strength. Since they are integrally molded from a general synthetic resin material that is not required, weight can be reduced, and the back plate 3 is provided with a centrifugal fan 13a centered around the casing 19.

In this way, the present invention makes it possible to make an air conditioner in an ultra-thin shape that has not been seen before by taking the above-mentioned rationalization measures, minimize the degree of protrusion from the indoor wall surface during installation, and reduce the weight.
In addition, it is innovative and useful, as it allows for effective heating, cooling, and dehumidifying operations.
