Abstract

PURPOSE:To close through-holes of a synthetic resin holed pipe positively so as to prevent water leakage trouble, by collapsing the through-holes at the end of the holed pipe, and closing the open ends of the through-holes at the collapsed section by a sealing material. CONSTITUTION:An end of the synthetic resin holed pipe 1 having a plurality of the through-holes 14 extending longitudinally between an outer wall layer and an inner wall layer 12 of the pipe wall with a partition wall 13 between the through-holes 14 is heated to be softened. Then with core members 51 of an inner mold 5 diametrically reduced, an enlarged section of the inner mold 5 is inserted into a prescribed position of the end of the pipe 1, then a tapered member 53 is moved in a direction as shown by the arrow to diametrically enlarge the core members 51, and at the same time the outer diameter 4 is reduced, so that projections 41, 511 extrude cooperatively the outer wall layer 11 and the inner wall layer 12 to collapse the through-holes 14. Thereafter the outer mold 4 and the inner mold 5 are removed. Then a cap 2 that is filled with a sealing material 3 and has an outer flange 21 and an inner flange 22 is fitted to the open end part of the pipe so that the sealing material 3 is allowed to enter the open ends of the through-holes 14 to close them.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a tube (hereinafter referred to as a "hole tube") having a large number of through holes communicating in the tube axis direction between an outer wall layer and an inner wall layer of the tube wall.

This type of hole tube has a through hole in the tube wall, so it has the advantage of being lighter in weight than conventional tubes, saving material, and increasing rigidity. In recent years, this method has come to be widely adopted as underground sewage pipes.

By the way, the connection between these Hall tubes is similar to the conventional connection between tubes, by providing a socket in one Hall tube and inserting the socket of the other Hall tube into the socket, and connecting them one after another. However, in this case, the inside and outside of the tube communicate with each other through the through hole in the tube wall, causing problems such as the fluid inside the tube flowing out through the through hole.

In order to solve this problem, a method has been used to close the through hole by crushing the end of the hole tube. However, in the conventional closing method, the end of the hole tube is heated and softened, then the outer and inner molds are inserted into the tube end. Because the pipe was simply crushed by pressing the pipe, the hole was not completely blocked, and when the pipe was subjected to vibration or shock, or was deformed into a flat shape under load, it would be crushed. There was a drawback that the closed part opened.

Figure 1 (a) shows an embodiment applied to one end of a straight pipe, in which the outer wall layer // is suppressed and the inner wall layer //! Place the material in close contact with the material 3 and cap it! After filling the inside of the tube, the outer surface of the tube end and the outer periphery of the tube end can be easily sloped. As explained in the above specific example, the present invention has a through hole/4I-
After crushing, the open end of the crushed through hole /Il- is closed with a sealing material 3, and the sealing material 3 of the trench is fitted to the end of the tube! Since the sealing material 3 is protected by the sealing material 3, even if the internal pressure of the pipe acts on the sealing material 3 through the through hole, the sealing material 3 will not come off, thereby reliably preventing water leakage from occurring.

Next, the closure method of the present invention will be explained based on FIG. 3 and FIG. It should be noted that although the description below will be given as an example in which the present invention is applied to a rubber ring receptacle, the closing method of the present invention is not limited to this example.

Next, an inner mold is press-fitted into this tube end, and the diameter of the tube end is expanded to form a socket. At this time, the inner mold j press-fits the enlarged part j at a predetermined position 1 while keeping the core member j divided into a plurality of pieces reduced in diameter, and then moves the tapered member 3 in the direction of the arrow in the figure. It is preferable to increase the diameter of the core portion by increasing the diameter of the core portion.

Then, simultaneously with the diameter expansion operation of the core member j/, the diameter of the outer mold is reduced and pressed against the outer surface of the end of the hole pipe. When the diameter of the core member O/ is expanded and the diameter of the outer mold is reduced, a socket is formed, and at the same time, the through hole at the end of the socket is formed. is crushed.

That is, the protrusion t/ provided on the inner surface of the outer mold g presses the outer wall layer //, and the protrusion j// provided on the outer surface of the core member j/ does not press the inner wall layer 1/2. 4' is crushed by both wall layers.

After the socket is formed at the end of the hole pipe through the above steps, the outer mold t1 and the inner mold j are removed, and a cap is fitted to the socket end. The second figure shows the fitting process with the cap, which has an outer flange, 2/ and an inner flange 22 that fit into the outer and inner surfaces of the socket end! Using this cap-
〇After filling the inner part with sealing material 3, fit it into the socket end. At this time, if adhesive is applied to the outer and inner surfaces of the socket end, the fitting with the cap 2 will be further strengthened, which is preferable. In addition, in the fitting process shown in Figure 1, if the pressed socket end is longer than necessary, it is advisable to cut off the unnecessary portion C before fitting the camp. When the socket end is inserted all the way into the cap 2, the cap is ready! The sealing material 3 that had been filled in the deep part of the hole penetrated into the open end of the pressed through hole/≠. As shown in FIG. 2(b), the through hole is completely closed.

As detailed above, the present invention involves crushing the through hole at the end of the tube, then closing the open end of the crushed through hole with a sealing material, and fitting the sealing material to the end of the tube. Since it is protected by a cap, the hole is definitely blocked and there is no risk of water leakage.
