Abstract

PURPOSE:To make an electric cord, which connects a level and a display box, unnecessary to measure a water level in a narrow space, by sending the output of the level in a measuring bar to the display box which is placed by a measuring device. CONSTITUTION:When a measuring bar 10 is placed on a track and a switch 26 is turned on, the output voltage of a level 18 is modulated, and radio waves are outputted from a connecting bar 14. The measurer turns on a switch 48 of a display box 30 in an optional position near the measuring bar 10 to turn on power. Then, radio waves received by a suspending belt 32 are demodulated, and the water level value is converted digitally and is displayed by a display circuit 50.

Bubble-type levels are often used to measure the level of conventional railway tracks. This method measures the level from the position of the blister, but due to its structure, it cannot be separated from the measuring device, and there is a problem in that it requires an awkward posture such as bending over during measurement. There was also the problem that level measurements could not be made because it was difficult to put one's body under the vehicle.

When using this device, first place the inspection bar 10 on the orbit and turn on the switch 26. Then, the power is turned on, the output voltage of the level gauge 18 is modulated, and a radio wave is output from the connecting bar 14. When the measurer turns on the switch 48 of the display box 30 at any position near the test bar 10, the power is turned on, the radio waves received by the hanging belt 32 are demodulated, and the level value is converted into digital by the display circuit 50. Is displayed·
In addition, when performing zero adjustment, the test bar 10 may be placed on a horizontal reference track, etc., and the variable resistor 38 may be adjusted so that the display on the display 44 becomes zero.

Although each of the above embodiments measures the level of a track, it goes without saying that the present invention can also be applied to general level measuring instruments. In addition, the antenna is connected to the hanging belt 32 in each of the above embodiments.
Although the antenna is used also as the connecting bar 14 and the pull handle 62, it is clear that the antenna may be provided independently in the present invention.

As described above, the present invention uses wireless communication to send the output of the level in the measuring par to the display box in the hands of the measurer, eliminating the need for an electrical cord connecting the two, and allowing the measurement position to be adjusted. It is possible to easily take level measurements in a posture even in places that are too small for people to enter. Also, since there is no cord, it is easier to carry and store. In particular, when measuring the level of railway tracks, it is not only possible to easily measure the level under a track straightening vehicle such as a so-called multiple type vehicle, but also to easily measure the level of a railway track.
If an inspection vehicle equipped with wheels is connected to this vehicle as shown in Figure 5, it is possible to measure the level of the finishing of the straightening at or near the driving guide of the vehicle while performing track straightening. It is also possible to improve work efficiency.
