Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit to regulate the injecting amount simply and surely with an electric mechanism by a method wherein the injection plunger is provided with a pinion and a worm, pivoted by a stepping motor, is engaged with the pinion. CONSTITUTION:When a follower 2 is knocked by a locker arm 5, the injection plunger 3 descends to inject fuel in a pump chamber 7 through a nozzle unit 4. In this case,the condition of an engine is being operated in a controller 13 at all times by trigger signal 14 and the output signal of the controller 13 is provided to the stepping motor 12. When a varying signal is provided to said motor 12, the pinion 10, provided in the injection plunger 3, is pivoted through the worm 11 connected to the motor 12. Then, the injection plunger 3 is rotated and the stroke of the injection plunger upon communicating the cut part 8 of the plunger with a feed port 6 may be varied. According to this method, the feeding amount of the ful in the pump chamber 7 may be regulated.

回動させることによって可変としたユニットインジェク
タにおいて、噴射プランジャにピニオンを設け、ステッ
ピングモータによって回動されるウオームを前記ピニオ
ンに係合させ、該ステッピングモータをエンジン運転状
態を検知して信号を発するコント四−ラによシ制御する
ことを特徴とするユニットインジェクタの調量装置。
