【発明の詳細な説明】 (発明の目的) 本発明は、ベニヤレースにより切削された裏割れに起因

押し曲げることによって新たな表割れを生成させて切削

正する工法を実施するための改良されたベニヤ単板用の
カール矯正機に係るものであって、その目的とするとこ
ろは、ベニヤレースによって切削される原木の樹種、材
質によっては切削時の裏割れに起因するカールの度合も
著しく異なって、成る種の樹種、材質の原木から切削さ
れるベニヤ単板については殆んどカールの矯正を必要と
しないものもあり、また多くの場合原木中心部より切削
されるパンキー質のベニヤ単板にあっては、それまでの
原木外周部より切削される強靭質のベニヤ単板用の調整
されている特定曲率半径の逆方向押し曲げ手段によりそ
のまま実施する時は、著しくベニヤ単板の材質を損じて
製品の歩留りへ品質を著しく低下する重大な難点があっ
たものであるばかりでなく、1本の原木から厚薄様々の
厚みをもったベニヤ単板が連続運転のもとに切削される
場合も多いので、そのような場合に従来は板厚に応じた
押し曲げ曲率に都度運転を休止して再調整していた非能
率的な工程操作があったものであるから、この種のニー
ズに答えるべく運転中に任意且つ無段階にカールの矯正
度合を変更し得る自動調整装置を備えたベニヤ単板のカ
ール矯正機の提供を目的としたものである。
