A linear mark 131 is printed in the longitudinal direction of cable on the outer semiconductor layer 13 or an index, e.g. a protrusion, is formed in the longitudinal direction of cable at the time of extrusion coating of the outer semiconductor layer 13. When L-type connectors are fixed to the opposite end of the cable, L-type connectors 2A, 2B are fixed with reference to the linear mark 131 while matching the direction thereof.
