In a noise filter in which a common mode choke coil is disposed in a metal case, and a line-to-ground capacitor connected between the winding of the common-mode choke coil and the metal case is cast in resin, the line-to-ground capacitor is provided. Using a bare ceramic or bare film capacitor without resin coating, one electrode surface of the bare ceramic or bare film capacitor is directly electrically connected to the metal case surface, and the lead wire of the winding is connected to the other electrode surface.
