Abstract

PURPOSE:To test the quality of electric connection by flowing a current to a part which is connected by soldering or wire wrapping, and leading out, amplifying, and displaying the electric AC variation of a current in flowing when the connection part is vibrated mechanically. CONSTITUTION:A test part is encircled with a dashed line, and 6 is the part of coaxial cord including a plug for a body to be tested; and Rw is the conductor resistance of the coaxial cored and Rx is the connection resistance of two soldering parts 7 and 8. A tester 1 consists of a battery power source 11, output lead-out resistance 12, DC stopping capacitor 13, AC amplifier 14, rectifying circuit 15, and display device 16. When a current is flowed through a conductor to vibrates the connection parts 7 and 8 mechanically, the Rx varies if there is a connection defect, so the voltage across a resistance varies and is detected and displayed as an AC component through a capacitor 13. This method simplifies the test of the connection parts and shortens the test time.

When connecting conductors by soldering, wire wrapping, etc., a particular problem arises if the connection is perfect.
The electric circuit fully performs the function assigned to it, but if it is incomplete, it will malfunction and stop functioning, and the electric circuit will no longer be able to perform its assigned function. Especially in communication lines, it is no exaggeration to say that the quality of the line is affected by the connection state, and it is necessary to ensure the connection.

To explain the configuration of the present invention, the present invention constitutes a closed circuit by a connection part to be tested between a power source and a conductor, and a resistor for variable measurement current and output extraction, and allows direct current to flow through the connection part to be tested. While applying mechanical vibration to this connection part, an electrical alternating current varying voltage is extracted from the output extraction resistor, and this alternating current varying voltage is amplified, rectified, and the obtained direct current voltage is displayed on the display. This is a test method for electrical connections.

, 几X is the connection resistance of the two soldered parts 7 and 8 in Figure 2. It is expressed. The tester 1 includes a battery power supply 11° and a resistor 12 for taking out the output. DC blocking capacitor 1
3° AC amplifier 14. It is composed of a rectifier circuit 159 and an indicator 16. A joint connection between a plug and an outlet is used to connect the coaxial cord and the tester. A voltage is applied to the coaxial cord 6 by the battery power supply 11, and a stain current value is set by the resistor 12 for varying the measurement current. Next, mechanical vibration is applied to the conductor connections 7 and 8, and if a connection failure occurs, the connection resistance Rx changes. This fluctuation causes the voltage across the measuring current variable resistor 12 to fluctuate, which is converted into an alternating current signal. This AC signal is applied to an AC intensifier 14 through a DC blocking capacitor 13. The AC amplifier 14 amplifies the AC signal until it can drive the display 16. The rectifier circuit 15 has a function of converting an alternating current signal into a direct current signal in order to drive the display 16.
