Claims

One end of an inner shaft is coaxially connected to one end of a speedometer shaft rotatably housed in a shaft sleeve, an inner cable is connected to the other end of the inner shaft, and the inner cable is connected via an outer cable. The speedometer drive device is housed in an outer cable sleeve, has a flange portion at one end of the outer cable sleeve, and is fastened to one end of a shaft sleeve by a cap via a ring-shaped elastic member. A speedometer drive device characterized in that a hard spacer sleeve is interposed between the elastic member and the cap, and the lengths of the elastic member and the spacer sleeve are set to be approximately the same as the inner diameter of the cap.
