Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a titled device small-sized and lightweight and also to execute smoothly the opening and closing operation by supporting the upper face panel so as to be freely openable and closable by a fulcrum in the vicinity of one end, and installing a cassette holder and a power source part to the inside surface near the opening and closing end part of the upper face panel, and to the end part of the opposite side, respectively. CONSTITUTION:An upper face panel 2 is installed to a body 1 of a magnetic recording and reproducing device, and the panel 2 is supported so as to be freely openable and closable by a fulcrum 3 in the vicinity of one end. A cassette holder 4 is provided to the inside surface near the opening and closing end part of the panel 2. A power source part 5 is installed attachably and detachably to the outside of the end part of the opposite side with the fulcrum 3 between against the opening and closing end part of the panel 2.
