Abstract

PURPOSE:To cool an exposure system with high efficiency by separating two reflecting plates when picture exposure is not performed, and flowing an air current which cools an exposure device in the reflecting plates. CONSTITUTION:The 1st reflecting plate 2a and the 2nd reflecting plate 2b are closed during exposure and the flow of the cooling air current is the same with conventional structure at this time. When, however, the picture exposure is not performed, a signal from a sensor set to an exposure drum 6, etc., is read and the 2nd reflecting plate 2b is rotated around a supporting shaft 10 up to a light shield plate 7 over the reflecting plate 2b. Then, the cooling air current which flows between the 2nd reflecting plate 2b and the light shield plate 7 in the exposure is cut off by the 2nd reflecting plate 2b and flows between the 1st reflecting plate 2a and the 2nd reflecting plate 2b as shown an arrow A' instead, cooling the exposure device with higher efficiency than usual.

Structure of the Invention The exposure apparatus of the present invention includes a first reflecting plate and a second reflecting plate for condensing light from an exposure light source onto the surface of a document. At least one of them is movable, and during image exposure, the first reflector and the second reflector are combined so that the airflow that completely cools the exposure device flows around the reflector. When not exposed to light, the first reflecting plate and the second reflecting plate are kept separated,
Exposure equipment A device that is configured so that the airflow that cools the entire body flows through the interior of a reflector, which can effectively lower the surface wall temperature and ambient temperature that are heated by the light source lamp, such as the reflector or lens. This is the result.
