Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the rigidity around a dash lower and suppress engine vibrations and steering vibrations by connecting a front side member and a floor side member in one unit at a dash floor portion with a joint member. CONSTITUTION:Closed-cross section structures of a front side member 6 longitudinally reinforcing a car body under a hood ledge panel 7 and a floor side member 5 longitudinally reinforcing a car body below a floor panel 4 are connected in one unit with a joint member 10 penetrating a closed-cross section 3 at the lower front of a dash lower panel 1 and forming a closed-cross section with the dash lower panel 1. Accordingly, the bending rigidity and torsional rigidity around the dash lower is increased. In addition, joint members 10 on both sides are united with a reinforce 11 connected to the bottom wall of a dash cloth member 2 and forming a closed-cross section, thereby reducing steering vibrations during idling.

バ6とフロアパネル4下面に接合したフロアサイドメン
バ5とを一体に接続しである。
