レーザ発振はレーザ管1を含む光学共振器内において行
われる。媒質ガスは図の矢印方向に流れており、2は放

ポンプ3で生じる圧縮熱を除却するだめの熱交換器であ
る。この熱交換器4を通−だ媒質ガスは配管らを通りふ
だだびレーザ管1内へと送られるのである。6は真空ポ
ンプであり、ガス循環系内を一定の低圧まで下げる働き
をし、レーザ発振後は真空ポンプ6によって媒質ガスの
一部を外部に放出し、ボンベ7より新鮮な媒質ガスを供
給するか、もしくは真空ポンプ6を通った媒質ガスをふ
だ及びガス循環系内に戻すかの方法が取られている。以
上がガス循環系の概要であり、問題点は、ガス循環用ポ
ンプ3内の油槽部の油がガス循環系内に混入するのを防
ぐことができなかった点にある。前記の説明を第2図に

発明の目的
本発明は、シール材の劣化・異常が生じても安定したレ
ーザ発振を行うことができるレーザ発振器を提供するこ

発明の構成
そのだめの構成として本発明は、レーザ管とそのレーザ
管に接続されたガス循環用配管とガス循環用配管の一部
に設けられたガス循環用ポンプとを具備し、前記ガス循
環用ポンプにより媒質ガスをガス循環用配管を通じ循環
させる構成を有し、かつガス循環用ポンプの油槽部はシ
ール材によりガス循環系と隔離し、前記油槽部を補助ポ
ンプによ−て低圧に保持する補助ポンプを設け、シール
材の劣化・異常によって油槽部とガス循環系が開放状態
になった後も、前記補助ポンプによって油槽部の油がガ

油がシリンダー内に混入し、レーザガス汚染、光学部品
の寿命劣化につながる悪影響を防ぎ、安定したレーザ発
振器として用い続けることができる優れた効果を奏する
