(Background technology) A thin film with metallic luster in gold, silver, or other colors is applied to one side of a transparent synthetic resin film such as vinyl chloride, polyester, or polypropylene, and opaque printing in various colors is applied to this. is being carried out. In order to create a film with a metallic luster suitable for such printing, conventionally, aluminum is vapor-deposited on one side of a transparent film to give it a silver metallic luster, or gold or other colored metallic luster is created. In such cases, transparent printing in yellow or other colors may be applied to the vapor-deposited aluminum thin film, or yellow or other colors may be printed on the transparent film in advance, and aluminum may be vapor-deposited on top of it to give metallic luster in various colors. They were making films by holding them. Then, opaque printing in black, red, etc. was applied to this film to obtain a film printed on a background with metallic luster, such as gold or silver.

Opaque printing on films with such metallic luster is widely practiced, and transparent films with aluminum vapor-deposited on one side are commercially available, and these films can also be used as adhesive labels. Because of this, films with a pressure-sensitive adhesive coated on one side and a release paper layered are also commercially available.

As described above, the conventional transparent printing film with metallic luster is one in which aluminum is vapor-deposited over the entire surface, and no part remains transparent. In order to obtain a printing film having a transparent part and a metallic luster part, it was necessary to use an inefficient foil stamping method in which foil with metallic luster was cut into a predetermined shape and adhered to the transparent film.

(Structure of the present invention) In the method of the present invention, aluminum is vapor-deposited on the entire surface of one side of a transparent film to form an aluminum thin layer 11 with metallic luster, and the shape of the aluminum thin film to be left on the aluminum thin film is After applying a colorless or colored transparent protective film to the film by printing means, the entire film is immersed in an aluminum solution to dissolve and remove the aluminum vapor deposited film on the parts not covered with the transparent protective films 11. To produce a transparent film for printing, which has a transparent film and an opaque metallic luster part and a transparent part.

(Example of the present invention) Next, as an example of the method of the present invention, a case where a silver glossy portion is left will be described with reference to the drawings. Although the illustrated method treats a long transparent film rolled into a roll, it can also be applied to a sheet film. In addition, a transparent film in which a thin aluminum layer is formed on the entire surface of one side by vapor deposition to give the entire surface a glossy appearance is already commercially available, so the following examples will be explained based on this vapor-reinforced film.

Next, this film 2 is passed through a printing machine 7 to form a transparent protective film 6.
As shown in FIG. 4, an opaque print 8 of a predetermined color and shape is applied thereon. In this state, the entire upper surface of the film 2 except for the opaque print 8 has a silvery luster, and the portions that should be transparent are not transparent. In addition, this opaque printing is
This can be done not only on one side of the transparent protective film 6, but also on the opposite side of the transparent film, or after the aluminum thin film has been removed to expose the transparent part, which will be described later. You can.

This film 2 is then transferred to a dissolving tank 10 by a guide roll 9.
The robot moves while being immersed in an aluminum solution 11 (for example, a 10% aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite (N'a OC)). As a result, the exposed aluminum thin film 4 that is not covered with the protection 11 and 6 is melted and removed, and the fifth
As shown in the figure, a transparent portion 2a of the film 2 is exposed at a portion where the protection 11 and 6 are removed. The aluminum thin film covered with the protective film 11M 6 does not come into contact with the solution 11 and therefore remains stuck to the film 2, and a silvery luster can be seen through the colorless and transparent protective film 6.

Next, the film 2 is immersed in a cleaning liquid 14 (for example, water) in a cleaning tank 13 by means of a guide roll 12 to remove the dissolving liquid, and is dried while being wound up by rolls 15 and 15 of a dryer.
It is wound up.

On the bottom surface of the long film 2 whose top surface has been treated in this way,
As shown in FIG. 7, a pressure-sensitive adhesive 17 is applied, a release paper 18 is placed over the protective film 6, a cut is made from the top surface along the outline of the protective film 6, and the film is peeled off from the release paper along the cut, for example. It is possible to obtain a film adhesive label that is attached to an article such as a box using the adhesive 17 so that the box can be seen through the transparent portion 2a. Further, as shown in FIG. 8, an adhesive 17 is applied to the back side of the film 2 having the transparent portion.

The release paper 18 is overlapped except for a part, and the part where the adhesive is exposed is pasted on a part of the surface of the label mount 19, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive 20 is applied to the back surface of the label mount 19, and the release paper 18 is If the adhesive label is made by overlapping the label mount 19, remove the release paper 21 and affix the label mount 19 to an item such as a box.
After writing the required information on the lower part of the transparent part 2a of the film, remove the release paper 18 and attach the transparent film 2 to the label mount 19, so that the written part is covered with the transparent film and will not get dirty. When used as an adhesive label, in this case, a beautiful adhesive label with metallic luster can be obtained in areas other than the written portion. In the second embodiment, the adhesive 17 is a vapor-deposited aluminum thin IF2.

In addition, in order to leave a golden or other colored metallic luster part on the transparent film 7, in addition to the silver color, the colorless and transparent protective layer of the above example should be used.
Instead of the film 6, a transparent protective film colored yellow or other color may be printed and processed in the same manner.

(Effects of the present invention) As can be seen from the following examples, the method of the present invention is to cover a transparent film coated with aluminum vapor-deposited with a colorless or colored transparent protective film of any shape, and to protect the other parts. By melting and removing a thin aluminum film, it is possible to create metallic luster areas and transparent areas colored in silver, gold, or other colors, and by printing on this, it is possible to print on the entire surface of the film as in the case of conventional films. Unlike the case where aluminum is vapor-deposited and used only as a background with metallic luster, it is now possible to use the metallic luster part as a pattern or surrounding frame, and to display necessary characters etc. through the transparent part. This method makes it possible to produce printing films with metallic luster and transparent parts much more efficiently than with conventional foil stamping methods.
