[Background technology] Laminated veneers are manufactured by laminating raw veneers with an adhesive interposed, sandwiching them between molds with uneven curved surfaces and pressing them together to obtain flitches, and then slicing this. Was. At this time, various measures have been taken to reproduce the grain of natural trees as faithfully as possible. For example, they devised ways to color the raw material veneer, and performed preliminary processing on the raw material veneer to improve fidelity.

However, as seen in wood species such as rose, there have been no successful attempts to faithfully reproduce patterns with stripes that run out of sync with or across the grain of the wood. .

The inventors of the present application have studied methods for expressing the above-mentioned striped pattern, and have devised the following method. That is, the dyed veneer is made into a primary flitch using a flat plate press, and then the primary veneer is adjusted by slicing it, for example, in a direction that creates a pattern in which the wood grain runs diagonally. The mixture is mixed and laminated, and then sandwiched between mold plates with uneven curved surfaces and pressed together to obtain a secondary flitch.
By slicing this, a striped pattern is created.

However, the above method requires a step of creating a primary veneer before creating a laminated veneer, which has the drawback of increasing time and cost. Furthermore, a large amount of adhesive was consumed, which further increased costs.

[Object of the Invention] This invention was made to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and it is possible to easily and faithfully create a striped pattern without using a primary veneer or without requiring an extra pressing process. The purpose is to provide a manufacturing method for laminated veneer that expresses high quality.

[Disclosure of the Invention] The present invention provides a method for producing laminated veneers, in which raw veneers are laminated with an adhesive interposed, sandwiched between mold plates having uneven curved surfaces, pressed to obtain flitches, and then sliced. Provided is a method for producing a laminated veneer, which is based on the premise that the method includes the step of interposing a piece of veneer whose surface layer is dyed in a dark color and whose inner layer is dyed in a light color during the lamination of the raw material veneers. It is something to do.

以下実施例として示した図面に基づき説明する。An explanation will be given below based on drawings shown as examples.

This product is made from veneer, which is obtained from relatively low-grade raw wood using rotary lace, etc., and is bleached as necessary and cut into veneer pieces. The shape of the veneer piece 1 is not limited. However, in most cases, a substantially short +11] shape is used. Although the cross-sectional shape of the veneer piece is not limited, it is preferably a trapezoidal chamfered shape. It is desirable that the thickness is not much different from the raw material veneer used. The veneer piece 1 thus prepared is dyed. Although the dyeing method is not limited, it is most preferable to carry out the dyeing by immersion in a dyeing bath.

FIG. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a main part to clearly show the state of dyeing of the next veneer 1. FIG. As can be seen from this figure, the portion 2 near the surface is colored in a dark color, and the central portion 3 is colored in a light color. This is achieved through the permeability of the colorant. Therefore, it is preferable that the dyeing method be immersed in a dye bath, but any dyeing method may be used as long as the same effect is achieved.

The veneer piece 1 obtained above is appropriately sandwiched between the raw material veneers when they are pressed together. The number, position, density, etc. of sandwiching them are arbitrary. In short, the design should be made depending on the state of the striped pattern to be expressed. The raw material veneers are laminated using an adhesive. Next, it is subjected to a pressing process. This pressing step is carried out by a conventionally known method by sandwiching the material between mold plates having convex and convex curved surfaces. In this way, it is pressed, flitched, and sliced to form the desired laminated veneer.

[Effects of the Invention] This invention provides a method for producing laminated veneers in which raw veneers are laminated with an adhesive interposed, sandwiched between mold plates having uneven curved surfaces, pressed to obtain flitches, and then sliced. The flitch is created by interposing and laminating veneer pieces with the surface layer dyed in a dark color and the inner layer dyed in a light color, interposed between raw veneers, and then sandwiched between molds having uneven curved surfaces and pressed together.
