Claims

A pedestal is provided on the side of the pass line of the steel plate, and an L-shaped arm can be advanced and retreated on the pedestal in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the steel plate advances.
Further, the intermediate portion thereof is supported by a guide member composed of an inclined surface and a flat surface continuous to the inclined surface so as to be movable up and down, and a touch roller that contacts the upper surface of the steel plate is rotatably supported at the tip of the L-shaped arm. What is claimed is: 1. A marking device comprising: a marking head that holds a solid marking material so as to be removable by compressed air; and an operating cylinder connected to the rear end of the L-shaped arm.
