Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatize car washing by a method wherein a number of car transfer rails are laid at car washing positions in parallel relationship with one another and a movable transfer carriage provided with car washing nozzles is caused to travel on the rails by means of a traverser. CONSTITUTION:A number of car transfer rails R1 are laid at the car washing positions, respectively, in parallel relationships with one another and traverser transfer rails R2 are laid on one side of the row of the rails R1 in the direction intersecting the rails R1 at right angles. Further, the car transfer carriage 1 provided with a water spray nozzle 3 and an air nozzle 6 are mounted on rails 11 provided on the traverser 7 and rails R3 for connecting the rails R1 and 11 are provided on the traverser 7 so as to incline freely. これにエヤー用ノズル6を具備せしめ、洗車後、洗滌水
の噴射を止め、代りにエヤーをエヤー用ノズルより噴射
して水切り乾燥を行う工うになすこともある。この両ノ
ズル3.6を使用する場合アーム4が同一であっても二
本のアーム4゜6全使用する場合であっても旋回襞fw
