Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the wear-resisting performance of a burner tip, by making a sprayer plate wholly with a wear-resisting material such as ceramics, and covering the sprayer plate wholly by a metal cap. CONSTITUTION:Since a sprayer plate 6 is the part subjected most to wear among all of the constituent parts of a burner tip, the sprayer plate 6 is made wholly of a material such as ceramics having a high resistance to wear. A metal cap 9, screwed on a threaded part at the top of an outer sleeve 1 for covering the sprayer plate 6 wholly, is positioned to align with the axis of the nozzle by fitting a projection 9a into a mating recess formed in the sprayer plate 6. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to increase the wear-resisting performance of the burner tip for ejecting a slurry fuel to a great extent.

This slurry can be handled in almost the same way as liquid fuel, and has the advantage of being extremely easy to handle compared to solid fuel. There is a problem that it becomes unusable due to abrasion caused by the deformation of the injection hole and poor spraying. For this reason, a method of lining the burner with a highly wear-resistant material, such as ceramic, has been proposed for parts of the burner that are subject to particularly severe wear, but partial lining is not a sufficient countermeasure, and parts without lining are proposed. This causes problems such as the inner lining falling off due to abrasion and grooves at the boundary, and poor combustion due to deformation of the spray hole. As a countermeasure to this problem, metal materials with high hardness were processed, but all of them became unusable within a short period of time.

In short, this invention forms the entire sprayer plate, which has the most severe wear such as fuel passages and gas passages for fuel atomization, from a wear-resistant material such as ceramic, and covers the entire sprayer plate with a cap made of metal. The structure is designed to increase the safety of maintaining combustion even in the event of cracks or damage.

In FIG. 1, 1 is an outer cylinder, and an inner cylinder 2 is disposed within the outer cylinder 1 so as to be located on the same axis as the outer cylinder, and the annular space formed by the outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 2 is A supply passage 3 for slurry mF is provided, and a passage 4 for atomizing gas S such as steam is provided inside the inner cylinder 2. A sprayer plate 6 is connected to the tip of the inner cylinder 2 via a packing 5. This sprayer plate 6 is the part of the entire burner that is subject to the most wear, and the entire sprayer plate is made of a highly wear-resistant material such as ceramic. This eliminates the need for difficult ceramic lining work (for example, inserting and fixing cylindrical parts) around the injection hole 7, and greatly improves the wear resistance of the portion of the plate 6 through which the slurry passes. Become. Reference numeral 8 denotes a passage for supplying the slurry 'J-F in the slurry supply passage 3 to the injection hole 7.

Next, reference numeral 9 denotes a metal cap that is fitted with a threaded portion a formed at the tip of the outer cylinder 1 and attached so as to cover the entire sprayer plate 6. The metal cap 9 is fitted into the fitting groove of the sprayer plate 6 by a protrusion 9a. Nozzle centering and positioning can be performed.

Next, this metal cap 9 is screwed onto the outer cylinder l. This metal cap is preferably made of a stainless steel material that is resistant to thermal shock and the like. In this case, the nut 10 is screwed into the outer cylinder 1 in advance and acts as a double nut for the metal cap 9, thereby making the metal cap 9 firmly attached. Reference numeral 11 designates a rotation stopper that improves the engagement between the nut 10 and the metal cap 9 and prevents the nut 10 and the metal cap 9 from loosening, and 12 represents a sealing member disposed between the outer cylinder 1 and the metal cap 9.

In addition, when attaching the metal cap 9 to the sprayer plate 6, the diameter d of the minimum diameter part of the nozzle 13 formed on the metal cap 9 as shown in FIG.
If the diameter d of the spray hole 7 formed in the spray hole 7 is also made large, there is no risk that the spray hole 7 will be partially blocked even if the metal cap 9 is slightly misfitted. Also, the fuel injection hole 7 and the nozzle 13
As shown in FIG. 3, a plurality of (five in the illustrated case) are formed for each burner.

In the burner chip described above, the slurry F in the slurry supply passage 3 reaches the injection hole 7 from the slurry passage 8 of the sprayer plate 6, and is sent to the furnace via the nozzle 13 by the atomization gas S supplied from the atomization gas passage 4. It is injected and burned inside. In this case, since the entire sprayer plate 6 is made of a wear-resistant material, it can withstand severe slurry abrasion and greatly extend the life of the burner tip. Furthermore, recently,
Ceramic has high abrasion resistance and is made to withstand the impact of ferrous metals, but in order to ensure the safety of the feeder against combustion, the entire sprayer plate 6 is protected by the metal cap 9 even if it cracks or breaks. Since the debris is covered, it is necessary that the debris contains silicon nitride or silicon carbide from a distance.

By carrying out this invention, the wear resistance of the burner tip that injects slurry fuel can be greatly improved, and since the entire sprayer plate is covered with metal, in the unlikely event that the sprayer plate cracks or breaks. It can also function as a sprayer plate and keep it safe.
