Abstract

PURPOSE:To print out a negativ efficiently, by switching optical paths by two mirrors and rotating a holding means, which holds a negative film so that it is orthogonal to the printing face, at 90 deg. around the optical axis of printing in accordance with the size of film pictures. CONSTITUTION:Pictures on a long-sized negative film 11 are printed to a roll photographic paper, which is placed in the upper part of figure and is orthogonal to pictures and is not shown in figure, by a light source lamp 6 and the first and the second mirrors 19 and 20. The running direction of the roll photographic paper and that of the negative film coincide with each other when the film is in the full size; but when it is discriminated by a picture size detecting block 18 that the film is in the half size, a negative film holding means 14 is turned at 90 deg. around a rotation shaft 14b, and said running directions are orthogonal to each other. Thus, pictures of full and half sizes are automatically printed continuously as positives having approximately equal picture size and shape.

When printing a positive image on a roll of photographic paper from a negative film after development, a method has long been used in which individual negative films are joined together in a series and then printed in a long length, using a hanger-type developing machine. In the processed version, it is possible to distinguish between a one-fleuroid screen negative film and a half-size screen negative film by looking at the image (h, +) of the negative film, and to make a long negative film that is spliced separately. On the other hand, those processed with the CII Matype developing machine,

Therefore, a full-size screen on a negative film is a rectangle with long sides along the length of the film, while a half-size screen is a rectangle with short sides along the film's length, and so on. Since both are arranged with exactly 900 degrees of difference in longitudinal direction, they can be printed using the same photoprinting device as positives with approximately the same screen size and shape on roll photographic paper of the same predetermined width. In order to effectively utilize the paper space and print efficiently, it is impossible unless the shape of the full-size screen and the shape of the half-size screen are aligned in the same direction. In order to unify the process, the developed negative films that have already been spliced must be peeled off one by one, and then re-edited by splicing them into full-size negative films or half-size negative films. 1

The present invention was made in view of the problems of the conventional J★ method as described above, and is a long negative film in which a negative film having a full-size screen and a negative film that irritates a half-size screen are joined in series. In the 11th state where these are joined without separating them, both full-size and half-size images (screens) are printed on the same roll of photographic paper.
This is an automatic photo printing device that dynamically prints images continuously as positive images with approximately the same screen size and shape, and is smaller than conventional devices, has a simple structure, and is easy to operate. The purpose of this invention is to provide (a) which is extremely superior and extremely beneficial in improving the efficiency of the photographic printing process, and the JJ"F present invention is based on a preferred embodiment thereof. 1. This will be explained in detail with reference to FIG. 1r11.

Foreword 1 Full-size negative mask 8a7 and lens 9,
The half-size negative mask 8b and 10 lenses are moved in the downward direction on the negative film holding means 14 for the negative mask portion by a mechanism such as a turret system (t%l is not shown for the lens portion). These actuators are driven in pairs so as to be alternately positioned on the optical axis of the optical system, and the actuators constitute switching means for the optical system.

Further, the negative film holding means 14 has an opening 14 that forms an optical path of light from the light source lamp 6 that has passed through the diffusion tube 7.
A first mirror 19 changes the optical path to reflect the light from the light source Shinpro onto the screen of the long negative film 11+, and the light reflected by the first mirror 19 is transferred to the long negative film b. A mirror block consisting of a second mirror 20 that reflects in a direction coinciding with the optical axis is fixed.

Since the present invention has a structure as described above, when the long negative film 11 has a full-size screen, the detection block 1 is as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
The switching means of the optical system is activated by the identification means including 8 to select full→noise negative mask 8a and full size moon lens ≦], and the negative film holding means 14 is operated by the identification means 111 [as shown in the figure]. At this time, the running direction of the long negative film II is aligned with the roll photographic paper 23.
The full-size screen of the long negative film ■1 is fed layer by layer (one screen) and a positive print of position SN is printed on the roll photographic paper 23. It depends on what happens.

Next, the long film 11 changes to a full-size screen 1. In this case, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the detector 111 block 18 detects the interval between the notches or screen frames on the long negative film 11, and the identification means including the detection glock 18 detects the above-mentioned. The switching means of the optical system is operated to switch between the half-size negative manuk 8b and the half-size moon lens 10, and at the same time, the identification means causes the negative film holding means 14 to rotate around its rotation axis 141 as shown in the figure. The optical axis of the system is displaced to a position rotated by 90 degrees with respect to the supply and winding direction of the roll photographic paper 23, and as a result, the roll photographic paper 2
3 and the running direction of the long negative film 11 are in a state where they are perpendicular to each other, so that the long negative film 11
With the screen orientation of the negative light image on the half-size screen of and the running direction of the roll photographic paper 23 matching, -, iR] (one screen) of the half-size screen of the negative film 11 jυi1 ~, The photographic roll paper 23 is also fed by a fixed amount of $, and the photographic paper roll 2 is fed from the negative film of no size to the photographic roll paper 2.
3 and 2, the predetermined positive prints are automatically printed efficiently by making effective use of the photographic paper surface.

Since the present invention is an automatic photoprinting machine as described above, a negative film for a full-size screen and a negative film for a half-size screen are serially joined without distinction.1-1: Automatically prints full-size and half-size images on the same roll of photographic paper from a long length of negative film in the same state as positives of approximately the same screen size and shape. When converting a monthly negative size to LJ+, the negative film holding means is rotated 90 degrees around iqi, which is in the downward direction of the negative film. Since negative film is often twisted, this device has remarkable qQr characteristics, such as being smaller and simpler in structure than conventional devices, and extremely easy to operate. This is extremely beneficial in increasing the efficiency of the photo printing process.

JISl 35 type negative film with a full-size screen and negative film with a half-size screen are spliced together in a series to make a long negative film, and the same roll of photographic paper is made with approximately the same screen size and shape. An automatic photographic printing device capable of automatically printing two successive positive images, the apparatus detecting the interval between notches representing the screen position 7 or the interval between screen frames on the negative film to discriminate between a full-size screen and a half-size screen. and a switching means operated by the identification means to switch the optical system to a negative mask and a lens with a magnification corresponding to the screen size of the full-size screen or the half-size screen, respectively. , a mirror that holds the negative film so that the screen on the negative film is perpendicular to the printing surface of the roll photographic paper, and switches the optical path to reflect light from the old light source onto the screen on the negative film; and a second mirror that reflects the light (negative optical image) reflected by the first mirror and passed through the screen on the negative film in a direction coinciding with the optical axis of the optical system. A negative film holding means fixed to a mirror block comprising a second mirror. is installed, and the negative film holding means is actuated by the identification means to rotate 90° around the optical axis of the optical system with respect to the feeding direction of the roll of photographic paper. Automatic photo printing equipment.
