Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a remover capable of readily and entirely eliminating any pressure-sensitive adhesive of gummed tapes, labels, etc., comprising benzine, a lower monohydric alcohol, a chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent, and a surface active agent in a specific proportion. CONSTITUTION:The objective remover comprising (A) 50-80wt% of benzine (pref. of high purity) (B) 5-20wt% of a 1-6 (pref. 3-5)C monohydric alcohol, (C) 4-15wt% of a chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent (pref. of 1-3C, such as methyl chloride, methylene chloride, trichloroethane) and (D) 1-10wt% of a surface active agent (e.g., polyoxyethylene nonylphenol ether).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an adhesive stripper that can easily and cleanly remove adhesives attached to the surface of various materials such as paper, wood, plastic, and metal. In particular, the stripping solution of the present invention can easily and completely remove old rails, labels (generally adhesives are used for these), etc. stuck to the covers and spines of various files.

Although this release agent is certainly effective in removing stamps, it may not be able to be removed cleanly from ordinary adhesive tapes, labels, stickers, etc. There were problems such as it took a long time to remove the product, and if you tried to forcefully remove it, it would damage the base.

This invention relates to a release liquid for adhesives containing as a main component. By using this stripping liquid, adhesive labels, stickers, duct tapes, and other adhesives attached to the surface of various materials such as paper, wood, plastic, and metal will not be damaged. It can be removed in a short time and carefully. In particular, apply the stripping liquid of the present invention to the labels, stickers, etc. affixed to the front cover or spine of various files, and after peeling off the labels and stickers, lightly rub with a cloth dampened with water. By removing the label, the label, sticker, etc. can be removed cleanly without any residual adhesive. Therefore, a new label etc. can be pasted after this, and the file will not become cluttered due to old labels etc. Furthermore, by using the stripping solution of the present invention, adhesives adhering to household furniture and other appliances can be removed cleanly, without damaging the varnished surfaces of the furniture.

By using petroleum benzene as the main component, the basic effect of adhesive removal can be obtained. (2) Component m Alcohols having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, such as methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, amyl alcohol, and hexyl alcohol, are used. Preferably. By using these alcohols, the surface from which the adhesive is removed becomes smooth. As for the chlorinated hydrocarbon of component (2), those having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, methyl chloride, methylene chloride, trichloroethane, etc. are preferable. Use of these chlorinated hydrocarbons allows rapid removal of adhesives. ■Relatively lipophilic surfactants are used as component surfactants, such as polyoxyethylene nonylphenol ether (trade name: Emulgen), oligomers containing perfluoroalkyl groups and lipophilic groups (trade name: Megafac), etc. It is not limited to this. By using these surfactants, it is ensured that the stripping solution penetrates (particularly into the gap between the spraying material surface and the adhesive), and the adhesive can be easily removed.

First, the above stripping liquid was applied to the entire surface of the old label using a brush, and after about 10 seconds, the label was peeled off with a finger (it could be easily peeled off). This was peeled off (it was easy to peel off). The surface after peeling off was dirty with residual adhesive, but it had swollen, and by rubbing it with a cloth dampened with water, it became a very clean and smooth surface.
