Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily and accuratly mix oils of fuel and lubricating oil at a certain ratio by disposing a partition wall inside a transparent or semitransparent fuel tank at a position where a proportion of horizontal sectional areas of room for fuel and lubricating oil may be equal to the required mixture ratio. CONSTITUTION:A tank 1 whose contents of liquids can be identified from the outside is divided by a partition wall 3 into a room 4 for lubricating oil and a room 5 for fuel, a proportion of horizontal sectional areas thereof being equal to a mixture ratio required by an engine. An opening for communicating said two rooms 4, 5 to each other is made on the wall. After fuel and lubricating oil as much as required are filled into the tank, they are laterally and longitudinally swung into a mixture, with respective supply openings 6, 7 capped.

Most 2-cycle internal combustion engines, especially general-purpose 2F ital internal combustion engines such as stationary and small portable types, use a so-called mixed lubrication system, which uses a mixture of fuel and lubricating oil at a 1-electrode content. Therefore, when operating this type of engine, it is necessary to prepare a mixture of oil at the mixing ratio required by the engine in advance and supply it to the fuel tank. The required mixture ratio varies from engine to engine, and a considerable range of mixture ratios are currently in use.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and provides a fuel tanker for a two-stroke internal combustion engine that can easily and reliably form a mixed oil at a one-run mixture ratio in the engine's fuel tank without having to prepare the mixed oil in advance. This is what we provide.

) indicates the main body of the engine. The structure of the fuel tank (1) according to the present invention will be explained with reference to FIG. 2. The fuel tank (1) uses a transparent or translucent material so that the amount of liquid inside can be determined from the outside. There is a gap 1 inside the tank.
1 (3) divides the inside of the tank into a space (4) for injecting lubricating oil and a space (5) for injecting fuel.

) There is. Note that this partition wall does not completely partition the fuel tank into two spaces, but has an opening at the top to communicate the two spaces. (6) is a lubricating oil inlet, ( 7) respectively indicate the fuel injection ports. (8) indicates a fuel pipe that communicates with the fuel tank (1) and the engine's carburetor (-not shown). Next, the method of use will be explained. When filling an empty fuel tank with oil, inject fuel and lubricating oil from each oil filler port to the same liquid level. In this case, since the ratio of the horizontal cross-sectional areas of the lubricating oil space and the fuel space is the same as the mixing ratio required by the engine, the ratio of the amounts of injected fuel to lubricating oil matches the mixing ratio. After injecting the required amount of fuel and lubricating oil, cover each injection port and, if the engine is lightweight enough to prevent leakage, lift the entire engine and shake it upside down or rock it up and down and left and right to drain each liquid. are mixed by passing through the opening at the top of the partition wall, and the desired mixed oil is formed.

The sufficiently mixed oil mixture is accumulated in the fuel space where the fuel pipe is attached. Next time, if you plan to refill the fuel tank with the mixed oil remaining in the fuel tank, pour the same amount of oil as the mixed oil in the fuel space into the lubricating oil space through the opening in the tank. Transfer the mixed oil to the liquid level,
The required amounts of lubricating oil and fuel may be injected thereon in the same manner as above to form a mixed oil.

Next, as a second embodiment, a method of use in a case where the engine is too large to be lifted or swung manually will be explained with reference to FIG. The fuel tank (1) is supported on the engine by the method described above so as to be rotatable in the direction of the arrow shown in FIG.

The formed mixed oil is accumulated in the fuel space provided with the fuel pipe, and the fuel tank is used by being fixed upright as shown in FIG. 5(S). Next, if you want to refuel additionally when the mixed oil remains in the fuel tank, first set the fuel tank to position II (keep the bottom side horizontal) as shown in Figure 3(b), and some of the remaining mixed oil will be removed. The lubricating oil is introduced into the lubricating oil space through the opening. Next, if you return the fuel tank to the state shown in Figure 5 (-), the liquid level of the mixed oil remaining in the lubricating oil space and the fuel space will be the same, so apply the same procedure as above. A required amount of fuel and lubricating oil are supplied and mixed to form a predetermined mixed oil.

Next, we will discuss a third embodiment in which the fuel tank is made of an opaque material. In a fuel tank made of an opaque material (for example, Kohan), it is not possible to check the liquid level, so we will provide a space for the fuel. By attaching a liquid level needle to the lubricating oil space and the lubricating oil space, a predetermined mixed oil can be prepared by the same operation as in Example 1.2 (not shown). Figure 4
This example is an example of a fuel tank for which the installation of a liquid level needle is not allowed for safety reasons.

In the state shown in FIG. 4(-), the lubricating oil and fuel are injected into each of the lubricating oil inlet (6) and fuel inlet (7)-l- until the liquid level is layered and each space is filled. Next is 11! l 4 (b), and by swinging the fuel tank in the direction of the arrow in the figure, each liquid is separated by a! They come and go from the top of (3) and are mixed. If there is any mixed oil remaining in the fuel tank, set it to the state shown in Figure 4(b), keep the bottom in a horizontal state, and return to the state shown in Figure 4(-) to remove the remaining mixed oil. If the liquid is distributed according to the volume ratio of the space, then each liquid is injected from each liquid injection port until it fills each space, and the system is oscillated again in the state shown in FIG. 3(b). The fuel tank is filled with the mixed oil.
