The routes of this ascending infection are (1) extraluminal (bacteria entering from outside the catheter) and (2) intraluminal (bacteria entering from the catheter channel), and the latter is a closed type. It is generally accepted that this can be effectively prevented by adopting a urinary drainage circuit; however, various methods have been proposed to date to prevent the latter from extravascular infection, but none of them can be said to be satisfactory. .

Conventional methods for preventing this extravascular infection include (1) coating the catheter surface with metals or alloys such as gold, silver, copper, etc. in order to take advantage of their bactericidal effects; (1j) urinary bladder infection; Proposed methods include washing and prophylactic administration of antibiotics, using water-repellent materials such as GiD silicone and Teflon, and suppressing stimulation of urethral cells to prevent a decline in the defense ability of the urethral mucosa.

Furthermore, a ventilation passage 9 for balloon inflation and a passage 1 for urethral washing.
Regarding the formation method 3, for example, rubber latex is coated on the surface of a rod-shaped mold for forming the liquid flow path 1, and a thin rod-shaped mold is used to form the balloon inflation path that communicates with the balloon part. After applying the latex coagulant to the rod-shaped mold, the latex coagulant is attached along the rod-shaped mold, and its tip is moved slightly back from the tip of the rod-shaped mold.

As described in detail above, according to the present invention, the balloon catheter for intraurethral indwelling can be operated at any time while the balloon catheter remains indwelled in the urethra.
Since the urethra can be cleaned or disinfected, it is possible to easily and completely prevent secondary infection and ascending infection caused by bacteria that occur during the indwelling of a balloon catheter in the urethra without causing pain to the patient. This is extremely useful for aseptic management of seed catheters.

Also, move the opening of the urethral irrigation passage 1 to 2 points from the balloon position.
The urethra can be washed more effectively by providing one or more urethral washing passages spaced apart by cm or by making the opening of the urethral washing passage into an elliptical shape that gradually expands in the circumferential direction of the catheter tube.
