Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) The shape of the brush that is pressed into contact with the commutator that rotates together with the rotor of the electric motor through the biasing force of a spring is such that the contact area between the commutator and the brush is adjusted according to the wear of the brush as the commutator rotates. A brush mounting mechanism for an electric motor, characterized by having a shape that decreases in response to a decrease in the biasing force of a spring due to wear.
