Claims

In a normally open contact type brush wear detection device, a brush side surface is provided with a finished U-groove corresponding to the wear limit, and the brush wear detection device detects that the wear limit has been reached when a contact comes into contact with the cut-up portion.
It is fixed by the U groove provided on the insulating brush holder base and the shaft part, and consists of a U cedar leaf spring that fixes the feeler facing the brush cut-up groove at one end and connects the output line to the other end. A brush wear detection device characterized by:
