Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

In a heat treatment furnace that heats a material to be heated using an atmospheric gas that does not have gas radiant power, a permeable solid wall is provided at appropriate intervals from the furnace wall toward the core to form a furnace membrane. Alternatively, a supply path for atmospheric gas heated to a predetermined temperature by an atmospheric gas heating device installed outside the furnace is formed so as to communicate with the furnace outer wall and the furnace inner membrane, respectively, while an outlet for the heated atmospheric gas is formed so as to communicate with the furnace outer wall and the furnace inner membrane. A heat treatment furnace characterized in that the heating atmosphere gas is formed only on the outer wall of the furnace so that the heated atmosphere gas passes through an inner furnace membrane made of an air-permeable solid wall and flows out of the furnace through the exhaust port.
