Heat energy has been mainly used to cure the film of conventional paints, but with photocurable paints, the curing reaction of the paint film occurs with ultraviolet energy, and it is possible to cure the film in a short period of time. In the case of materials that have been difficult to cure, such as plywood, wood, and wood fiber boards such as particle board, there are also advantages such as the ability to form cross-linked and cured coatings without heating.

In the present invention, adhesive is applied to a desired base material and 15 to 30 gr/g
A thin paper of m2 is pasted so that the adhesive penetrates to the middle layer, and a self-curing resin with high permeability is applied so that it penetrates to the adhesive penetration part.
The present invention relates to a method for producing a decorative board, which is characterized by applying a photo-curable top coat, irradiating it with ultraviolet rays, and curing it.

A thermoplastic adhesive (vinyl vinegar emulsion, etc.) and a thermosetting adhesive (urea resin, melamine resin, etc.) that has good permeability to thin paper are applied to the desired base material (plywood, wood fiber board, asbestos slate board, etc.). The mixed adhesive is applied at 45 to 100 gr/m2, and when it is dry to the touch, a thin paper of 15 to 30 gr/m2 is attached so that the adhesive penetrates into the middle layer.

貼着方法としてはラミネート法、プレス法等がある。Examples of pasting methods include a laminating method and a pressing method.

In addition, the laminated paper used is thin paper that is easily penetrated by resin in order to prevent paper separation.

この場合、薄葉紙に種々の印刷を施しておけばよい。In this case, the thin paper may be printed in various ways.

After pasting the thin paper, a self-curing resin with good permeability (lacquer, moisture-curing urethane, etc.) is applied at a rate of 18 to 45 gr/m2.

In this case, after application, the resin is dried after a desired period of time so that the resin does not penetrate into the adhesive-penetrated portion of the thin paper to form an unimpregnated layer.

The purpose of this is to strengthen the resin to prevent the thin paper from peeling, and to fill the voids in the thin paper so that the photocurable paint in the next step does not penetrate into the thin paper.

Since the tissue paper is already reinforced with resin, the photocurable top coating does not penetrate into the tissue paper, and there is no possibility that air bubbles in the tissue paper will come out into the coating film by displacement.

Therefore, when curing the top coat by UV irradiation in the next step, the coating film can be uniformly cured, and there is no possibility that the top coat will penetrate into the paper and inhibit photocuring.

Conventional polyester decorative board production methods require a long time (20 to 30 minutes) for both the cellophane method and flow coater method, but by using ultraviolet rays and adopting the above-mentioned manufacturing method, the coating process can be completed in a short time (20 to 30 minutes). A decorative board of excellent quality could be obtained in about 1 minute).

The reason why the paper used in the present invention is limited to thin paper of 15 to 30 gr/m2 is to prevent the adhesive from bonding with the self-curing resin for sealer treatment in the middle layer of the paper, resulting in an unimpregnated layer. This is a necessary condition, and interposing a self-curing resin layer between the photocurable top coat layer and the thin paper is a necessary condition.
This is to prevent the top coat paint from penetrating and to prevent air bubbles in the thin paper from being replaced and coming out into the coating film, thereby allowing the entire top coat paint to be cured by ultraviolet rays.
