Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the ends of strands from projecting unevenly to produce a knot-like small projection by forming portions of each yarn end to be untwisted and enveloped in a continuous groove and applying to the yarn end a jet air stream directing to the opening of the groove in the groove. CONSTITUTION:The yarn end YP on the package side is fitted in a groove 57 by turning a swivel guide plate 47, and the yarn end YB on the bobbin side is clamped by a clamping device 41 and inserted from an inclined surface 6a into a yarn guide groove 6 by turning of filament collecting levers 37, 38. Subsequently, each yarn end is cut by cutters 30, 35, and when pressurized air is jetted from nozzles 13, 14, the yarn ends are untwisted by a whirl in yarn end untwisting grooves 3, 5. After that, the filament collecting levers 37, 38 are again operated to put YP on YB to be entwined with each other by the whirl of a jet air stream from a nozzle 12, and further turned to twist the yarn ends so as to produce entwinement of strand ends on both sides. Since the nozzles 13, 14 also emit jet air streams during such operation, the yarn ends are drawn by the outward air stream so as to produce no projecting portion such as an edge.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a pneumatic yarn splicing device, in which the fibers at the yarn ends are untwisted and spliced in a series of yarn guide grooves in a substantially straight state. The purpose is to sufficiently and completely untwist and separate the fibers at the spliced portion to completely envelop the fibers.

In the pneumatic yarn splicing device, the yarn ends to be spliced are untwisted, the fibers at the yarn ends are separated, the yarn ends to be spliced are aligned, and pressurized air is blown onto the waist using a swirling flow.
Twisting is caused in the alignment portion to cause the fibers at each yarn end to be enveloped, and the yarn ends are unified and spliced.

During the above process, suction is applied to the yarn ends to untwist the yarn ends.
Conventionally, a control nozzle that blows a jet of air onto the yarn ends to untwist them, a yarn splicing member that straightens the untwisted yarn ends and heats them by blowing a jet of air to the pulling section, etc., have conventionally been provided separately. In particular, the control nozzle untwists the yarn end by bending the end of the yarn drawn into the yarn splicing device in a direction that intersects with the yarn pulling direction, and transfers the untwisted yarn end back to the control nozzle. Because the yarn is pulled out from the yarn end, there may be a portion where the fibers at the end of the yarn are insufficiently defibrated and separated.

In addition, the yarn splicing member supports only a limited portion of the yarn end where the yarn is spliced, and does not support the entire processing system. It was also thought that sometimes the fibers would sag between the unsupported parts.

First, the package side yarn end YP is guided to the yarn splicing device 100 in a state where the yarn end is suctioned by a suction arm (not shown). The package side yarn end sucked by the suction arm is transferred to the fixed guide plate 47. After the yarn end YP is guided into the guide groove 49 of the rotation guide plate 48 and detected by the detection device 65, the rotation guide plate 47 rotates around the shaft 5o to fit the yarn YP into the relief groove 57. . Next, a bobbin-side suction arm (not shown) sucks the bobbin-side yarn end YB, guides the yarn YB to the yarn splicing device 100, and stops the yarn. At this time, the bobbin-side yarn end YB is clamped by the swing lever 42 and stopper 43 of the bobbin-side clamp device 141 via the hook portion 52 of the swing guide plate 47. When the above-mentioned movements of the bobbin side and package side chryso arms (not shown) are completed, the thread shifting levers 37 and 38 rotate, and the threads iYP, YB on the package side and the bobbin side are rotated.
is guided into the guide grooves 53 and 54 of the guides 10 and 11, and is inserted from the inclined surface 6a into the thread guide groove 6 through the slit 8. Then, the cutter 30.degree. 35 cuts off the yarn end that has been sucked into the suction nozzle. The position at which the part is cut is related to the length of the seam to be spliced, and also to the appearance, texture and binding strength of the spliced seam.

By pressing the yarn ends with appropriate means, it is possible to prevent the vibrations of the yarn ends from being transmitted to the other end during untwisting, and it is possible to untwist the yarn ends more reliably and in a good manner.

Next, the yarn shifting lever 37 is turned in a direction away from the yarn at the same time or in succession when pressurized gas is jetted from the gas jetting nozzles 13 and 14. At this time, the yarn ends YB and YP receive the jet of gas from the gas jet nozzles 13 and 14, and in the yarn end untwisting grooves 3 and 5, in this embodiment, the jet in the direction of untwisting the Z twist. The yarn ends are untwisted by the vortex created by the air current.

Next, the yarn shifting levers 37 and 38 are operated again and the yarn ends are pulled together, the package side yarn end and the bobbin side yarn end are positioned so that they overlap, and pressurized gas is applied to the overlapping yarn ends using the gas jet nozzle. After blowing, the untwisted yarn ends are entangled by the swirling flow generated there, and after being integrated, each time the core part turns, twist is caused in the integrated part, or: The fiber ends are entangled on both sides of the part, and the splicing is completed without creating any corners. During the above yarn splicing operation, the gas jet no.
Since gas is ejected from yarn end untwisting grooves 3 and 14, an air current is generated in the yarn end untwisting grooves 3 and 6 toward the opening direction, and the untwisted yarn ends that are twisted together in the yarn twisting section 7 are The fibers at the ends of the yarn are always pulled along with the airflow going outward from the yarn twisting section 7, so when the fiber ends are connected as a yarn, the fiber ends naturally become entangled with the yarn and form an angle. ) etc. will not occur.

In the second embodiment, there are no slits as in the first embodiment, but covering members 21, 22, 23 are provided. Therefore, when inserting the thread into the thread guide groove 6, the arm-shaped body 20 is rotated by a cam mechanism (not shown), and the covering member 21.2 is rotated.

As described above, the device of the present invention is a yarn splicing device that applies compressed fluid to the overlapping yarn end portions to cause the fibers of the yarn end portions to wrap around each other. A series of continuous grooves are formed, into which the yarn ends to be spliced are introduced, and within the grooves, a jet stream directed toward the groove opening is applied to the yarn ends.
Because force is always applied to the yarn ends in the pulling direction, the splicing is performed with the untwisted fibers aligned in the same direction, causing the fiber ends to protrude unevenly and form small knots. It does not cause any protrusions.

また、糸継ぎの処理は溝状体の内部で行なわれるだめに
噴気流によって糸が回転しても一連の溝内において回転

Moreover, since the splicing process is carried out inside the grooved body, even if the yarn is rotated by the jet stream, it rotates within a series of grooves, so the cross section of the yarn will not be made asymmetric.
