Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide facility of attachment/detachment by constituting a slip prevention device, mounted on the wheel of car, with integrally formed ground contact and fixed member made of synthetic rubber and closely covering the ground contact area and side surfaces of tire. CONSTITUTION:This slip prevention device is made of synthetic rubber or the like having proper elasity. The device is provided with integrally formed ground contact member 1 and fixed member 2 with its inner shape equivalent to the outside shape of tire 4, and is arranged so that it may cover the tire 4. The ground contact member 1 covers the ground contact area of the tire 4, playing in turn a role of a new ground contact member by itselt and on the peripheral surface of the device are provided projection 3 which are provided with specified strength and slip prevention effects. On the other hand, inner and outer fixed members 2 and 2' which fix the ground contact member 1 to the tire 4 are so arranged that they may be fitted and fixed to both inner and outer sides of the tire 4. It is especially important that materials of high elastic quality must be selected.

When snow accumulates or freezes on roads, the road surface becomes slippery, making it unsafe for vehicles to drive. Therefore, when driving on such roads, tire chains are often attached to the wheels to prevent slipping. Tire chains are made by connecting chains of appropriate dimensions in a ladder shape to cover the contact surface of the tires, and are quite effective in preventing slip accidents on snowy roads.
On the other hand, since this chain is made of metal, it can seriously damage the paved surface in areas where there is no snow, i.e. where the paved surface is exposed. The cost required for tire chains increases, and if the chains break, there is a new risk of slipping accidents. Of course, when driving on the road, you can use tire chains in areas where there is snow and remove them in areas where there is no snow, but in our country, areas where it snows and areas where there is no snow are adjacent to each other. Cars are often driven on both sides, and even in areas where it snows, roads in urban areas are partially cleared of snow, so every time you drive a few kilometers to more than 10 kilometers. There are frequent alternations between roads covered in snow and roads with exposed pavement. Therefore, it is not possible to drive satisfactorily if the vehicle is stopped and the tire chains are attached and detached each time, and furthermore, this causes traffic congestion on the roads, making it virtually impossible to drive. Tire chains in particular are convenient for carrying around because they can be folded up into small pieces when not in use, but on the other hand, they do not have a fixed shape, so it requires some level of skill to attach them to one wheel, so they are not normally installed. Not only does it take a long time to install, but many people are unable to wear it. In addition, in place of tire chains, which have various problems as mentioned above, snow tires have been developed in which the tires themselves have a function to prevent slips and slips. These tires can be used on paved surfaces like tire chains. There is no need to replace them with regular tires on roads that have been cleared of snow in urban areas, as they do not cause much damage, and they do not have the short lifespan of tire chains. These tires have extremely high resistance to running compared to regular tires, so if you drive on a normal road with no snow, your speed will drop and your gasoline consumption will increase.

Therefore, this tire is not only used on cars that are only used in areas where it snows, but as mentioned above, in Japan, areas where it snows and areas where it does not snow are adjacent to each other, and many cars, especially trucks, are used in both areas. This type of tire cannot be used, considering the time and economic losses incurred when driving in areas where there is no snow.

Of course, a car can be equipped with both regular tires and snow tires, and these can be replaced when the driving area changes, but snow tires are themselves independent wheels, and they are similar to tire chains. Since it cannot be folded into a small size when not in use, it is virtually impossible to carry it around.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional points, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a novel anti-slip device that has a high anti-slip effect, does not damage paved surfaces, is easy to attach and detach, and is convenient to carry. The ground contact part 1 covers the tire's contact surface and functions as a new contact surface, and its inner surface matches the outer shape of the tire's contact surface as desired, and is attached to the tire. It is formed so that there is almost no play between the tire and the tire when the tire is pressed, and a large number of protrusions 3 are provided on the outer circumferential surface.

There are no particular limitations on the material of the grounding part 1 or the shape of the protrusion 3; the point is that it is sufficient as long as the material has the specified strength and anti-slip effect as a grounding surface. 1 is made of a material with appropriate elasticity such as synthetic rubber similar to tires, and the protrusions 3 are formed in the same manner as those of snow tires.

The fixing part 2.2° is used to fix the ground contact part 1 attached to the tire to the tire so that it does not fall off during use. The shape is V. Figure 1 shows an example in which the fixing part 2.2° is formed into a ring shape.By the way, when attaching this to the tire 4, please refer to Figure 2. As shown, the method adopted is to first roll up the inner fixed part 2 to the outer periphery of the ground contact part 1, fit the ground contact part 1 onto the contact surface of the tire 4, and then return the fixed part 2 to its original position. Therefore, when at least the inner fixed part 2 is integrally formed into a ring shape with α around the entire circumference as shown in Fig. 1, the inner peripheral edge 5 thereof extends to the same extent as the outer diameter of the ground contact part 1. It is necessary to form it using a material with extremely high elasticity that can be used to hold the ground contact part 1. (requires elasticity) is made of a material with little elasticity, such as an automobile tire,
This requires the use of a material different from that of the grounding portion 1. If the fixing part 2 is not formed using such a highly elastic material and is to be molded completely integrally with the grounding part 1, slits 7 are made in several places in the fixing part. It is made up of two plate-shaped pieces that together form a ring. Of course, in this case, a fastener 8 is formed in the slit portion, and when this fastener is attached to the tire, the inner peripheral edge of the fixing portion is integrally connected.

As already mentioned, the contact area 1 is formed so that its inner surface matches the outer shape of the tire, but as the tire wears out with use and its outer diameter gradually decreases, the contact area 1
In some cases, it may be necessary to adjust the inner diameter dimension accordingly.

In such a case, the grounding portion 1 is formed in advance into a C-shape, and the inner diameter dimension is adjusted by changing the distance between both ends of the grounding portion 1. FIG. 4 shows an example in which the ground contact portion 1 is formed to be slightly longer than the outer circumference of the tire so that when it is attached to the tire, both ends thereof are slightly shaped.

Of course, it is important to attach a fastener to the overlapping part to prevent this part from opening during use, but in this case, when attaching this thing to the tire, it is not necessary to connect the fixing part 2 to the ground contact part 1. Since there is no need to raise the outer periphery of the fixing part 2, even if the fixing part 2 is formed using a material with low elasticity, there is no need to make a slit in the fixing part 2.

As described in detail below, the present invention includes a ground contact part 1 that covers the ground contact surface of a tire, and a fixing part 2 for fixing this ground contact part 1 to the tire.
In particular, the contact area 1 is formed in the same way as the contact area of the snow tire 1 and has a fixed shape, so it will not damage the paved surface during use and will not damage the tire chain. It has a significantly longer lifespan than the previous model, and it has many benefits such as being able to be easily attached and detached by any number of people without any skill required, and being able to be folded and carried when not in use. It is something.
